@shadoestevens Sadly, in 1998 Orion went belly-up, and the entire catalog, including your version & Peter Marshall's versions of HS, wound up in the archives of one MGM. BTW, apropos of nothing, but one of the key elements of this version of Hollywood Squares, without a doubt, was Stormy Sachs. From the theme, to all the musical cues, he brought an energy to the show that was unparalleled. And to hear him on the Mighty Wurlitzer, coupled with 6000 people screaming their heads off, just... wow.

Hollywood Squares would make a return visit to New York in 2000, this time with Tom Bergeron as host, Whoopi Goldberg in the center square, and (until 2002) Shadoe still announcer.

Best theme, best host, best announcer... if they hadn't f***ed around with the endgame for season three, this show would've lasted a lot longer than three years!

They should not had the champion keep back until win the car. Also how they should done car if was won take it out go with other 4. Cause in season 2 they gave away 4 of same car.

This was definitely a game show for both gay males and straight females alike. It had your hunks John Davidson & Shadoe Stevens and your comedians Joan Rivers and Jim J. Bullock.
