Mathas is the perfect VtM story teller. Never played it myself (or any TTRPG), but I do enjoy listening to them and out of the many games I've heard, he's one of the best I've heard.

Usually I don't like 1-character sessions, but this one was awesome. Mathas is an exceptional GM; I'd love to have a co-GM session with Mathas and Jason Carl. That would be *so* good

Disclaimer: I do this in a kind of commentator notes format so pardon the mess and any spoilers. . Weird choice putting Dakota for the Art for the title screen of an Ava solo episode. . Yeah was a little loud to begin with. . Exploring the thing with Nero, was an interesting idea as it would be a story arc that the others wouldn't have much to do during. . Not surprising there are more than just Ava and Nero who have visions of doom. . This is just ridiculous and fitting the number of crits. As even in the first 2 seasons a lot of times Ava was far more successful when doing her own thing than with the coterie. Wasn't expecting a big spanish media company is Chicago though. . Oofff, unapproved childe and Lasombara. Cecilia is going to have a hard and/or short unlife. Given her clan though, 90% chance that body is the sire's fault, or irresponsibility to stop fledgling from draining first kine they met. Though man were really just confirming the theory that the ban on siring and Oblivion has more to do with the ability to see behind the curtain and into the abyss shenanigans Sybil is doing. . There irony being since were 2ish decades in this would be around biological clock time for Ava and she's finding young kindred. . Not surprising Ava trying to do Oblivion things was a bad idea. Though afterward wait, is Sybil trying to have a Lasombara diablerize Ava to put the plan back on track, though trying with somebody like Cecilia who is still young and rather human not a great plan. That would be quite the twist that she only offered the Shadow so she didn't have to sacrifice Bella and control over the Ivory Tower. . Then we got Nelson a room mate. . Yep not that surprising unsupervised childe killed somebody.

Whaaaaa?!!!!!!!!!!! Wahoo a fix of vampire. :)= yay! Super excited. Absolutely love the story, I loved all the characters and all the seasons and it's so cool to see how they have shifted and changed. I love one-on-ones because you can really understand who a character is even more by just listening. I really appreciate you guys and thank you roll4it for making it possible :-) you made these past few years really awesome :-)

LOL so I'm not sure if you know, but the reason Ava rolls better by herself versus when she's with a group is because digital dice considers rolls created before to create its new roll. This is to give the appearance that it's more "random." So, if Ollie just rolled 8 success with a crit, you better hope you're not up next to roll dice. Of course, it's not as simple as "1 bad roll, 1 good roll" But still. And yeah, I also notice a pattern with Mathas using younger characters in his plots when both Dot and Magitek saying "what's with all the kids." Though Mathas seems to almost always use girls for the trope. Nelson's the only character that fits who's a boy and he's a PC by josh lol. Mathas must watch a lot of anime LOL.
