You have a brief moment of control before you start sliding, I've done it accidentally in other sliding sections. [Never mind my never mind, I did it] Upon testing, by which I mean button mashing, I can't pull it off. So never mind what I said,. not every slide section is equal.

I've returned to rescind my previous failure. I managed to throw a chaos spear before landing, which gave me a few frames to input a boost before the game could make me slide. Not sure if it's frame perfect.

How are you getting enough Chaos energy for another Chaos Control at 1:55 - 2:02 ??

defeating enemies and breaking chaos energy containers while Chaos Control is active, defeated enemies and broken containers are "locked" until time resumes, at which point a broken container instantly gives it's charge and defeated enemies are destroyed, releasing chaos energy to fly after the player the point you specified has 3 Chaos Controls. the first is from a container just after the 2 Artificial Chaos enemies, Sharu waits until the container respawns, actives Chaos Control, collects the container again, and continues on. after the 1st chaos control ends, the container breaks and gives the 2nd one, once that one ends, the energy from previously defeated enemies catches up and fills the gauge a 3rd time

@ It’s weird bc I tried the exact method but I never got full Chaos energy for a third one after the second refill. I’ll try to make other runs, but maybe I’m starting the second Chaos Control a little late

So I figured it out! It’s called Chaos Lag. If you hold the button for Chaos Control as you collect a Chaos Capsule, you’ll instantly use Chaos Control and when it’s over, you get another full bar of Chaos Energy

It reduces air drag

Chaos Spear keeps your momentum while in air and while on the ground. Combined with things like the Doom Wings, Boost and Chaos Control, it can shave seconds off of your times.

2:07 How are you getting the height to make it to the green beam? I find my jumps and chaos spears never give me enough height to reach

Apparently, you’re supposed to hold back for just a quick second so that the homing reticle can appear and then you can homing attack.
