I've got a great history with getting shadow pokemon w great IVs from Gio. My R-gigas was 14-15-15 and my R-rock is 14-14-15. I'm really hoping my Kyogre will be similar!

The “Timeless Travel” research is the new Team rocket research. It’s the research we couldn’t finish. Naintic tricked us into thinking we were getting a new legendary so most of us started that research already so now when the new Team Rocket event happens we have to finish the “timeless travel” research to get the new one coming up.

That’s a great one, I’m pretty sure weather boost doesn’t affect shadow legendaries though, will always be a 6/6/6 floor. Good for the extra levels though

I was torn between catching 3 kyogres or 3 rayquazas until I sat down and ask myself what do my 2 accounts really lack? I wondered if it was even worth it to waste the extra 2 yet until I realized wait a minute. Those things are going to go to raids eventually. Therefore so will groudon. And my water roster sucks. And that is how I ended up with 3 shadow kyogres some of them actually deserving to power up. Shadow groudon you better watch your back when you enter raids.

I am unsure on how to proceed with shadow Kyogre. I have saved up the past 4 Giovanni researches, so I could get 5 radars now. I want to get 2 shadow Kyogres and keep the remaining ones for Groudon/Rayquaza. All those researches are at page one, what is the best way to go on with this now, as I still want to get the next Giovanni research for Groudon, so would I have to complete all these researches at the same time by defeating Giovanni once to get all 4 Radars? Is this the way to also get the Groudon research when not wanting to use up all radars?

You should get 2 Kyogres now, which will put you on 3 rocket radars in storage. By the time Groudon comes, you'll get another free one and I'd suggest getting one Groudon which would still leave you with 3 radars in storage. And finally, when Rayquaza comes around, you'll have 4 in total to use on Rayquaza which you can decide on when it comes. Hope that helps :)

yeah, I will use 2 on kyogre 3 on Groudon and 2 on rayquaza. But what is the strategy to use the radars? Can I savely do all 4 researches simultaneously and get 4 radars at once or will that prevent me from receiving the Groudon research in the future? I only know that you can't get a new research if you aren't either finished with previous researches or have them at page one. How's that for having multiple radars in your inventory ?

Took me over 30 tries with not so optimal pokemon, cos I just dont have the stardust and candies to just max every pokemon like these youtubers. Once I got the right setup with what I got, I got the kyogre with meh IVs. Oh well...imo, its RNG cos sometimes the rocket mons have heavy hitting counters and others not so much. Kyogre just one shots anything I have if I dont have two charged moves ready LOL nearly

It’s the “timeless travels” research. That is what the professor was working on when we couldn’t finish the research. I think Niantic is trying to stop us from collecting multiple TR Radars so they tricked us into thinking we where getting a new legendary or something.
