Two Eye I spent like 20 mins shooting arrows trying to get it to walk over to me while I was on a high place so I could jump to it’s back or something. i also tried luring it down to where we were before just to see if it would work and man was I disappointed when I found out I just had to climb his stupid leg 😔😔 Never would have thought the solution would be so weird and literal. “Climb the colossus” was something I thought was just like a general tip not “dry hump his leg and he’ll die”

Jumis Travel Trust me, pick it up again. You’re not doing any more damage because the weak spot moves after a certain amount of damage is done to it. This game is incredible and it took me a long time to realize this, this was a fucking ps2 game that was leagues ahead of itself.

I just downloaded this game for my kids as I played it more than 10 years ago. I’m reminded of the shitty controls and how they are not adjustable. You can’t invert camera controls. You can only select from a preprogrammed button selection.

The climbing mechanics in this game are so janky it just makes it unnecessarily frustrating, I mean to climb the first wall of the game I was like wtf is going on, I thought I was going the wrong way at one stage, so I had to youtube what the hell I had to do. Game is amazing but is letdown by the frustrating controls and game mechanics.

It's purposefully done because you're meant to feel like an insignificant creature in this strange land, way over your head trying to kill these beasts and somehow succeeding despite all odds. Personally, I feel that it's very immersive and I don't find it janky at all once you get used to it. My favorite game of all time since it was released on the PS2. A totally unique experience that is unlike any other game. Also it's just straight up beautiful and I'mma just say the best remake ever made.

Agreed. The first chapter usually decides whether a player would want to continue or refund. The failure to inform the player about the stamina during the crucial first boss fight is what causes the unnecessary frustration and some dropping the game.

that is actually one of the themes of the game you want to revive your girl so this weird dark god tells you to kill the colossi, but all of them are just minding their own business in their respective lairs, and then a stranger (you) comes and kills them. Was it worth it?

Why is it that every (no seriously) "lets play" I've ever seen, looks like it was made by someone who's never touched a video game in their lives? I'm just hoping the guy on the pic of this channels avatar is the great grandson of the old lady really playing the game. Anyway, I hope you figured out that you can push the sword button once, build strength, and push again (as opposed to repeatedly smashing the button with a brick) but I wouldn't know cause I couldn't make it past 7:00. But some friendly advise: when playing a masterpiece, if it seems too hard/frustrating, you're probably doing something wrong.

Maybe because they're trying to relate to and make new players feel welcome? This is somewhat implicit in the "Let's Play" title: it's a way to get new gamers on their feet, so to speak. The casual look and feel of performance is welcome to many.

The first boss is basically a tutorial on how to defeat colossus, the next one is harder, and the next one is even harder and so on..., but yes, most of them attack you back :)

Wow, okay I'm sure everyone loving the remake loved this 20 years ago as a masterpiece, but for God sake, did you seriously not have any issues with these controls? Pretty much every action you take has like a 2 second wind-up, so if you hit an attack/climb/etc button at the wrong microsecond, you have to start all over. Seriously, controls are slower than old people f***ing.
