Love when The Opened Way kicks in for this beast after not playing since you fought Phaedra. It's almost like the game's giving you a last hurrah before you take on Malus (which is much more a tragic/symbolic fight than a triumphant one).

Y’know there’s actually a good reason why Argus doesn’t clench his fist to crush wander. Same reason you wouldn’t clench your fist to crush a cactus. Sure wander would be crushed but his sword would just impale his hand.

@@jazzy9809 That doesn't prevent other colossi from trying to flatten Wander like a pancake, though. Argus' fist can't be much worse than Quadratus' sauropod stomp or Gaius' sword.

@@Dinoman972 if anything, these Colossi have proven to react extremely slowly to what is happening. Also these Colossi aren't intelligent like Apes, or at all. If it was an intelligent creature like King Kong he would have crushed his fist for sure. These Colossi are like robots who don't know what to do with their hand once the weapon is lost.

Babbage they are fragments of the soul forming, they don’t have an intelligence more of a basic instinct like a zombie, once the souls merge together with wander you become a self aware colossus

There’s a cave entrance underneath the arena, and considering he comes from the cliff, it’s safe to assume he lives in said cave. And like the comment before me, he’s the guardian of the ruins.

Tip: if you shoot the weak spot on the head then he only has a small amount of health by the time the head glyph disappears

Definitely easier to shoot out his arm vital from the gantry, so once you jump onto him, you can go head, chest, ground and palm. None of this climbing down his arm and back up again..

So, Argus was the last colossi but Malus is the last hope to keep Dormin sealed. Dormin says "the wish is nearly granted but someone is stand to get in thy way ", knowing that the Elder Chief and his men's is coming to this forbidden land to stop their revival and Malus is the last colossi with the Dormin sealed essence.

The death cutscene moves you to a specific location for every boss, meaning you cant jump off. if you somehow did I imagine you would just die and have to do the boss again.
