The most difficult part in this boss fight is the parkour to get to him ._. Sorry I’m late to this game I just got it on ps4 for free because of the PSPlus offer.

@@balasuar yeah that was kind of confusing but for me it only took like a minute before I accidentally figured it out lol Just put distance between you and it and then go to the middle stone platform and it will spear you and so you run up it's sword and then grab on to its arm and climb up

if you're here to get past that jump, it helps to press x slightly before he gets to the edge to avoid the falling animation

I did on my first try just now.. I think it was luck that I found out the boss does lunge attacks. Didn’t watch any of the video except for the jump to get to the area because that took like 30 minutes for me :I Other than that I just tried random locations from where he is to see if he does different move. Next thing I know I think “woah this platform looks pretty cool I technically got the high ground now since it’s up by about a foot” then he lunges at me as I almost die... but then I figured the mechanics out :D

These giant's are evil because they have stolen the little girl's spirit and left her to die. The boy is her savior and every time he kill one of them, thy try to take him down with their death. He recover's every time because he promissed to save the girl. These giant's are just demon's, and just an adventure. Evil has to go so just kill them......

i have the ps3 version (ps2) and the controls are horrendous, i absolutely cannot make the platform jump i've been at it for an hour! are the controls really improved that much in the remake that it would be worth buying? i just want to finish the game lol

Last time i played was on the ps2 version, as i can recall you can collect lizards\fruits to increase stamina or health, correct me if im wrong

You can make a combination of jump and attack (Jump Stab) to achieve both effective damage! R1+ ▢ in mid air.

I was running around, jumping on and off his sword and legs and ass dozens of times for almost a freakin HOUR trying to find a way to the weak point. And he missed this fcking metal part over and over again keeping his armor. Other bosses feel intuitive enough, but this one is confusing as fuck.

lets not deny it here guys the original is a masterpeice the devolpers said they wouldnt messup the original and how it played and looked but the original hasnt aged well for the time it came out in 2005 it was groundbreaking but we would have to wait 13 years for a remake which it desperatley needed this games been brought back from the dead with gorgeous graphical updates

That "jump" should go down in play station history as one of the hardest boss that's so easy to defeat. Like "The End" in Metal gear soild Snake eater. Or changing your controller port to beat Psycho Mantis in metal gear solid.
