Hi Scott! The lizards that increase your stamina have white, glowing tails. The other lizards you saw are normal lizards and won't do anything. Loving your play through and I'm so glad to see this masterpiece again xx

Really enjoying the vids! Point about the lizards though: Killing a lizard and eating the tail only increases stamina if the tail is white. At least one white-tailed lizard can be found on each save shrine in the game, though they are other places too (at least, that's how it was in the older versions of the game). Keep up the good work!

The sound design is different, I remember this colossus having more of a whistle like neigh when you stab it. Now it just sounds like a stuck boar, really miss the old sound, made you feel a lot worse for stabbing it.

Agreed, as much as I adore these updated visuals, for this particular colossus, the original high-pitched cries of pain really made me feel horrible about killing it.

Well this is different! Everybody climbs up the little tail part when it crouches but you climbed the feelers or something under its jaw... Well it worked and you basically short cutted trough the running up its back part :)

I’ve played this game for years and I never knew you could go up the tail. I always just waited for it to look in the tunnel and I would jump out and grab the dangly bits

umm... you realize the spot on its neck is just to get it to stop moving and put its head down so you can get on the head easier and it wont move as much. it didn't deal that much damage because its technically not a weak spot

as someone who played this, that isn't the intended way the developers wanted you to go, but it is good for speed runs, but is why you fell off weirdly.

I kind of looked more organic and mysteriously horrifying in the original. Doesnt seem to have much of a threatening feel to it though. Is it having any nice attacks or something except the shaking? It's a bit one-sided.
