did my first real seige was on gorgoroth after the ratbag one. was like 80 levels under the enemy but i did have 3 captains helping me. Dude that seige was legendary bombs everythere, fire spouting out, gates burning my guys. I desparate try to save my guys and leaps over to shot the fire breather and a dragon came out (did not know they had dragons in those) shit got real and the gate was finaly broke down, but bodies was flying everywhere my captains was dying i was rampaging like crazy. Dominated some weak captains sense all my guys expect one was dropping like flies. somehow by after going down 2 times and having no extra lives anymore i clashed with the overlord and was fighting with my health crazy low and boss adapting to everything (sense i play on nemesis diff) 25 min of battle and i drop down, screaming NO (i thought i had to redo entire seige if i lost) i lost hope but NOPE, the only fucking captain that survived my white fucking berserker that have a dire caragor swopes in and fucking bonkers the fucking dude until he decapitate his head with both axes. My first savior and its on my first real seige. Guy got instant overlord and my day was made legendary

I was once running around as you do, and behind me I suddenly hear "RRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEADY!" Oh god, a other ambush by some fucker that's probably not even legendary. And boom! It was a uruk that cheated death, BUT stayed loyal to me!!! Which made me feel really bad because I put him up against a random legendary in the pit, to spawn said legendary so I could kill him and get loot. But also Mr. READY! was a Legendary so win win! Loot wise anyway. Mr. Ready is now my Overlord as a sign of my appreciating for his loyalty. I just hope he doesn't find out I send him to the pit to die so I could have loot >_X

I’ll never forget when I battled Kuga the Ugly. Our first fight was quite easy, I got an execution to finish him off, ended up chopping the bloke in half, nothing special about it. However to my surprise I see him roaming around not even an hour later, only now he was known as Kuga the Undying a now legendary orc. Seeing this I decided to engage him once more. Naturally I killed him, but he refused to die. 5 battles later and I am the one who dies in battle. In our next two encounters I am slain both times, both my bodyguards as well, and Kuga mocks me as I slip out of consciousness. He ends up becoming the overlord of that territory, so the next time we meet it is during my raid of his castle. At this point he was immune to stealth, ranged attacks, acrobatics, and executions, so I was being thoroughly destroyed. After a particularly devastating series of strikes from Kuga I fell to my knees, feeling as though my conquest was hopeless, when out of no where a beautiful orc leaps from the shadows and desecrates Kugas head with several vicious axe strikes, afterwards he turned to be and said along the lines of “Finally got him eh master”. It turned out to be one of the bodyguards Kuga had killed in our earlier fights. Needless to say he became overlord that day, but I don’t even remember his name 😭

These moments are the best in the game, I have one bodyguard in gorgoroth named bagga he's a warmonger duel axe wielding guy with on of those orc slave brands on his head strange enough, I was outnumbered 5 to 1 and got my ass beat down by an enraged mystic guy I fucked up the save and he comes in kills him and then kills the other 4 in 40 seconds....dudes a walking holocaust

There was this one Bruz like, those Olog guy, I died to like 5 times. He rank up from a lowley captain to a fucking warchief. It got to the point he fucking one shot me every time. In the last battle, he almost kill me. All hope was lost. And then an Uruk called Snafu the trusted, who lived up to his name, came out of no where and smash him in the damn face. I immediately promote him to overlord after that.

During my first playthrough, I had 3 saves in Minas Ithil. I was downed and had gotten annoyed and was like: "oh great another orc gets a promotion." When a random gondorian saved me. I was like: "wait where did you come from!?!?" Then while in the fight I got downed again, i yelled no, when suddenly that old gonorian guy came to save me. I said: "man, you gondorians must like me." Then I got downed again and i thought for sure my time was up. Nope! I was shocked to see the ork slayer come out of nowhere. I was like: "WAIT AN ORC SAVED ME!?!?" After that I was hooked on the game.

It happen to me one time : during a fort defense. It was fuking easy, they havent passed the wall, I thought it will be over soon. Then came an legendary uruk. I saw him, alone, break my walls and lead his army inside. I saw all my mens and body gard die, one by one. I came to save them, but this uruk "glorkus the king-slayer" didnt let me resurect them. He killed me one time, two times. I lost all hope when he hit me for the last time with his axe. All my guys were dead and I was down knee in front of him. Then, when he reach me for the final hit, I saw him. On a tower near to me I heard the sound of victory "dont worry, I will always be there to cover your back". At this time my hope reborn when I saw Ugbal, the last commander in my army, shoot a fuking arrow in Glorkus's head. It was at this moment I knew: my fortress was saved, and I found a friend.

Technically Shaka is not an Uruk-Hai but a Snagga-Hai. Hai means breeded for war. Snaggas are standard orcs and Uruks are a stronger breed of the Snaggas. Snaggas are the thin and smaller ones like Ratbag, and Uruks are the tall and muscular type. both orc types can be breed for wars and get the -Hai suffix. The orc slaves you see in the game are mostly normal Snaggas. But dont put Mordor Uruk-Hai in the same pot as the ones of Saruman. Those are cross breeds between Uruks and Humans. Just a little lore. But hey... this game is messing with the lore all the time so lets call a snagga an uruk ^^

As i wrote: they messed a lot in timeline and lore in the game. Olog is the race and means troll. Olog hai means war troll. and that all is not 100%. Tolkien himself explained the orc names never completely clear. What i described is based on whats known (Melkor created orcs and perfected them to orcs for war) the rest is my logic analysis for my fanfictions.

I gotta say, I love the rescue system because how amazing it is, but it's cost me 3 of my most favorite nemesis so far. Well...two... because one keeps coming back no matter how badly I break him. Broke his mind, came back, burned his face, came back, exploded his head, he came back with a head cage on, drowned him, came back, and he's not even an undead or anything, just a ruined orc.

I have had a few close calls with this game and I have been saved a few times but never three times in a row. You are honestly the luckiest person to have ever played Shadow Of War. Closest thing I have to this is when I got downed by an OP Slaughter Tribe Orc and out of nowhere the first Orc I recruited in Gorgoroth (whose name was Gash the Militant.) came out of no where and obliterated the Slaughter Orcs head with one swing of his war hammer. Unfortunately before Gash could get the promotion to Overlord he was killed during the siege by his blood brother who I killed as well. However when I fought the Overlord and was downed Gash showed up and saved me again. I decided to instead assign a different Orc to the Overlord position and I put Gash into the garrison where he will never be killed because that dude was loyal even after dying.

Nat Kezxy long story short, there was a monolith employee who worked on shadow of war but died during the games development due to cancer so to immortalise him they put up a £4 dlc (all the money went to his family) and in it you got loot chests and some gold but also a saviour named forgey the orc slayer which is the employee's last name"forgey" and he was also in a work band in monolith called "orc slayers"

Had a moment where during the siege I was saved by my body guard and then while I was fighting the overlord I called him in and he basically fought him alone. The overlord was immune to arrows and executions. He was also an olog

Wow that was really good luck xD one time just a RANDOM orc saved me and I didn't even have domination as a skill yet. He just saved my life, gave me a speech about how we're all supposed to fight in this war, then left. I will never forget that :)
