It amazes me to think that there are people out there that don't know this game exists yet. They'll stumble upon it one day, amazed by the graphics and the asthetic, and fall in love. They'll play it every day for a few months, creating their own worlds and stories with their trusty canine companions that are a bit more wild than usual. I remember when I was that person. I remember when I first saw the poster advertising WolfQuest in the Minnesota Zoo. It's honestly amazing. Thank you so much, WolfQuest team. It truly has impacted my life, even if it's just in a small way.

Hah, that ending wolf reminded me of the legend of Icarus somehow. He flew too high and eventually plummeted to his death, just like Icarus basically did. Also, that distant shadow effect is beautiful, that's going to make scenery in WolfQuest so much more realistic, and that's one thing I remember most from Yellowstone is that from any lookout point, or even while just driving on treacherous roads, the view is always stunning as far as the eye can see.

Even with such a limited budget, you guys have done an amazing job with this game, so much research and time went into bringing up this masterpiece! I hope other developers with bigger budgets are taking notes!!! I only came across this game almost 3 years ago while searching for a good animal simulator game as there weren't many around, and I have no regrets!

3:55 Ha, that brings back memories! XD I remember actively trying to "fly" in 2.5, you had to hit the mountain just right. You also had to be careful about your stamina, it would decrease in the air and if you hit empty you'd be stuck and have to make a new game.

Even though Its not out yet we all know how amazing this update will be for everyone. This is crazy! I had to tell all my friends about the early access date too! I hope those distant shadows can be optimized for better performance, looks like it's a bit hard on your GTX 960 but not too bad. I love how it's going so far with the improvements, it looks amazing with the new rendered shadows.

If you are buying WQ 3 for the first time, the cost will be more than the current game 2.7 (so it's cheaper to purchase it now and get WQ 3 as a free update). The Tower Fall expansion will be an in-game purchase (DLC).

it's great to see how far WQ has come over the years. I'm going to be hiking the appalachian trail(starting next year but prepping this year) so i will be unable to get or play this game for a few years! but it's nice to see one of my childhood games growing up so much. sad but happy. love!
