I like the part where FacePunch stops sending player location and loot data of every player client side at all times. That way not everyone knows exactly where you are and your loot is no matter how big of a base you build.

@M M Unfortunately, having a game developer that cares more about their game code not being easily circumvented and the basic gameplay impaired by data mining cheats is nothing more than fantasy in today's gaming climate. All game developers care about today is squeezing money from gamers for that next cosmetic item. They have teams of people working on producing sellable cosmetics and probably 1 old man in the basement that died years ago who is supposed to keep the gameplay from being easily broken and rendered meaningless by cheats.

What about having rundown residential houses or neighborhoods scattered throughout the map? Like mini monuments, or groups of medium sized ones. Maybe you can take over a house as a base after paying enough scrap, wood or other resources to “repair” it. Then beds, lockers and other storage are already there for you. Perhaps a few loot crates in some locked bedrooms or something?

Rust without the ability to get offlined would be an incredible experience. Love getting on and roaming for a few hours here and there. But a deployable 2x1 that you place when you get on and stays X minutes after you get off would be amazing and game changing for those who don’t play 10 hours a day and still wanna compete on vanilla

I covered a plugin like that a little while back called convoy, and it does just that. There are also a couple of similar plugins that work on the rail network.

I think pogo sticks could work in vanilla and not be broken or at least too broken. Simple make certain rules. 1. Pogo sticks will jump twice as high as a normal person. 2. Bouncing a pogo stick onto someone will either KILL them or do serious Damage (brain damage aside lol) 3. You will not move faster than a person running in regards to moving forward and backwards. Crafting mats example: tuna can misc canfood spring 50-100 metal frags and or pipe. A pogo stick would be a useful tool for people to jump on bases without having to jump on someone. What I would like to see in the game are diesel generators. These would not replace the regular generators, rather if you farm diesel it will last as long as someone putting 200-300 low grade into a generator. I believe it should generate the same amount of power as well. Really let me emphasize that these should not be a full replacement, rather an "alternative".

Rust needs more NPC's. Maybe some random walking randomly. Biggest problem with Rust kicking off is that any main server is filled with groups that own the server, and any non-main server is filled with grubs on any raid.

There is alrdy too much in rust(except car paint badly needed) they should also work on the anticheat(official servers infested with cheaters) but that said the shovel is not a bad idea, should be it's own item tho, love the video keep em coming

i think that facepunch should make the game optimized and going smoother on lower quality pcs because few years ago it was the best game ever where i had 100 fps with GT graphics card and now i have GTX 1640 and its 50-60 fps...

Cargo ship seems to be far to easy for the loot you can gain. So maybe having those patrol craft rush out to cargo would be a good idea. Would give the likes of submarines something to do.

Destroying a pocket dimension destroys any that are inside and so on. If you destroyed the top most one, all of the ones inside it would be destroyed and spill their contents on the grass. Hope that helps :)

pocket dimensions to me are far too much in the realm of fantasy and would break the game. Essentially everyone would just try to destroy every box they see on the map and if it does little to no damage they know its a pocket dimension. Facepunch also needs to fix the weird portals they have for the gingerbread and halloween event. AI is always broken.
