Expel Harm should be Reverse harm pvp talent. I can't even play ww without it. It gives you Chi, you can use it on allies(you can heal the tank and do sick damage with it) very rewarding when you use it correctly. But I guess blizzard doesn't want any complex class design anymore

I wish they could bring back complexity to WW either give us whirling dragon baseline or replace spiritual focus by actually implementing the Wod chi explosion to give it more variety in the 100 tier row since there is no reason to spec out of whirling, second of all I highly think we should get tiger eye brew baseline as a dmg and def resource just like in wod where the skill cap exceeded with this ability especially in pvp. Windwalker right now looks so bland, we get flat dmg increase which shows how out of touch blizz is with this class we get 1 talent that isn't even new and it feels so bad to see WW summon images and xuen on top because fantasy wise a WW should be the main dmg dealer and not the AI.

The mistweaver lego that heals a nearby injured player for 100% of damage on Tiger Palm, Blackout Kick, and RSK could be really interesting in a support role

Ty! Yea monks are likely to get some changes soon, I'll be making soon(tm) some tier lists for all specs and classes so I should cover Brewmaster there! Spoiler: They really strong just weak'sh damage.

Looks pretty much identical to the last two expansions. Anyone who's played it for the last two expansions or so will find it servicable but a bit dull to have so few new things to play with but anyone who plays(ed) it as an alt or not at all before will find it very fresh and fun. Probably going to push it down to a middle tier alt level for me. Especially with the covenants not being too exciting for WW.

Venthyr ability is garbage, totally boring. Needs to be redesigned. They need to update the talents as well, Chi wave, Spiritual Focus have been dead talents for years. Also, Whirling Dragon Punch should be baseline at this point. Hit Combo should be removed as well and replaced with the azerite trait that gives you a stacking change to get Xuen free.

Hit combo should be passiv baseline and not removed. It's a rewarding playstyle when used correctly. I dont want brainless button spamming on another meele

@@ziggs123 Hit combo should be deleted and a new mastery given. A new mastery should scale with our CDs and base abilities, maybe something (just an idea), Pressure Points - every 3 seconds hit a pressure point for (MASTERY)% of total damage done to target after your last pressure point strike, resetting after every pressure point strike. This could allow Xuen to be useful, and make resource pooling more of a benefit instead of a problem. I think they shouldn't make WDP baseline because i feel like something NEW should be in place - for example: Five Finger Death Punch - single target nuke that cost 5 chi (5 fingers-get it?). Serenity doesn't need to change if we remove hitcombo and mastery because it's all about causing maximum damage. So we have a ST, AoE and CD.

I think kyrian ability with haste after xuen proc and xuen cd reduction looks viable if you are able to cut the cd on xuen short enough. Cant wait to get beta

WW looks somewhat the same, and I like it. I hope the tuning and scaling works out this time around, and hopefully, Venthyr wont be the go-to... As much damage as it deals it feels lazy when we've already got Xuen. High hopes for Nightfae... It just needs some luck for the tuning pass I guess. Happy to see Xuens battlegear set return as a lego though, gonna be really good in all content.

ToD change is hot trash... Add baseline Xuen but remove another part of your rotation/burst... 3 min CD on ToD in current form is pointless.

Gotta disagree. ToD as it is now with the damage window forces you into the same ability chain once every 2 minutes, and to hold abilities just before it was ready. Not exactly any more fun that continuing your rotation normally, and kind of annoying with how some encounters worked. It was also very awkward in M+. Xuen you can fire and forget about, looks cool, and continue that moment-to-moment decisionmaking that otherwise defines the spec. Touch might be super helpful in higher M+ where no damage goes to waste, especially on raging, sanguine, bursting, just being able to control when stuff dies. And theres still SEF as far as DPS CDs go.

the old Gale Burst mechanic is actually put onto Rank 2 Xuen. every 8 sec, he stores 10% of the damage you do for a total of 30% over 24 sec. changed but not really gone

@@Chippedice Thats pretty nice. Shorter periods over a longer time normalizes the window quite a bit. Probably gonna help with scaling as well.

@@itskhro yo not everyone wants mongoloid playstyle where you press buttons without thinking. Ww is the last meele class that isn't that, but blizzard is ofc taking it in this direction. Every class the same shit, just press buttons as fast as you can, you have demon hunter already.

WW's problem remains the same as it has in the past - why bring a WW when a Rogue or DH just brings more useful things to the raid. I love the spec, but taking up a melee slot the raid with WW is just a poor choice.

I never could get in to monk, regardless of spec, Shadowlands is not changing enough for me. P.S you've developed a verbal tick,repeating the last two words of a sentence, it's very noticeable in the first fifteen minutes.
