One thing I don't like about Ray's campaign is that she doesn't have her own dialogue with the Mighty Numbers. She says herself that she killed what may have been her own brothers and sisters and yet she never spoke a word with any them?!?!

If I got everything correctly, she doesn't even know what she are. She just stopped to think "ugh, I've been devouring almost every robot on my way just to know the truth and find HIM, what if they were my brothers and sisters? I sacrificed all of them" since she feels something special about Sanda's Xels. Also, it's good to remind she absorbs the robot's data with the own robot, and maybe she got more conscious of what she were doing after eating a lot (at least wasn't totally insane due this "feed to survive" thingy). I don't know, never played the game, just got that impression after watching the whole video.

I have a small theory bout the "core" of beck and the other Mighty numbers/trinity those small spherical components are like a human heart, except constantly being a source of xels instead of pumping blood, in one of the cutscenes Ray says there is a hole in her, possibly referencing she never got one or had one as she constantly needs to feed off xels.

I'd like to know more about RAY's backstory. I mean, the BOSS FIGHT ROOM holds so much Backstory Waiting to be told! I mean, The Computer Screens are cracked, there are Bodies on the ground, AND THE ROOM HAS A POOL OF BLOOD ON THE FLOOR AND BLOOD SPLATTERS ON THE WALLS AND SCREENS! What happened there?!

Here comes the "obvious" part: If you noticed, Ray's ear has a 0 shaped number in it. I think this means: She's mighty nº0 and is the Zero tribute Inafune made in this new franchise, because 0=Zero, she's vermilion (somewhat red), has no memory of her past (apparently that seems to be the situation) and is on a rampage on eating Xels like a crazy robot--> Zero has almost no memory of his past (maybe until x5 ending) and in the very beginning (pre-x1) Zero had a maverick behaviour. Inafune did it again.

So this is what I could make of Ray... Dr. White created Ray to be like an early prototype Beck. Ray, instead of absorbing Xels, devoured the victim. Dr. White decide to shut down Ray and leave her at a old Cherry Dynamics facility. She woke up but lost her memory and now wants to look for Dr. White to give her answers. Yea the game could use work but overall I say the story is pretty great. All they're doing is setting up for a franchise and once the company really grows and puts some real work in, they can work out the kinks and deliver us a great sequel possibly detailing a few missed details in this game such as Dr. Blackwell and yes, even Raychel

as a gamer who grew up with the asian game industry, i love RockMan and have also been supporting Keiji eversince. MN9 brings back alot of my childhood memory, The moment when i bought it, was exactly the same feeling when i went to a shop and bought RockMan cartridges. I wonder, there are NO any asian video complaining about this game, while alot of the non-asian videos are against it. No racism here but its true, how different the point of view of gamers worldwide is. Well, there are other media products that people dont like too, such as book, music, movie, people should not just stay around Mn9 and complain about its weaknesses. The internet mostly smells like a dead fish for me.

I like Mighty No. 9 And is a fan of it. It reminded me of Mega Man X in a way. I also liked how Mighty Gunvolt Burst had a classic MegaMan styled DLC of Mighty No. 9 Beck. I like Mighty No. 9 cause it reminds me of MegaMan. The gameplay, characters, OST BGM Soundtrack, and storyline reminds me so much of MegaMan. And I'd like to see the Mighty No. 9 Animated series become an actual TV Show. I've seen and played far worse thing than this. So I'm just curious is all. Is there anyone else who actually likes Mighty No. 9? I still find it enjoyable. And Keiji Inafune can make a sequel game. And update the graphics and gameplay quality. And get the show going. I know I'm not the only one out there that likes Mighty No. 9 for what it is. Besides It's not the worse thing out there.

no, its more likely cannon cause when you fight her in the dlc shes looking for answers from white in the first place. So its like a split timeline where in one beck fights the mighty numbers and in the other Ray fights them. Both timeliness meet together in the sewers where beck and ray have their showdown.

It's....not good. Not horrible...but not good. And yes, it's somewhat buggy. And suffers from framerate drops and lags. Graphics are.....yeesh. 3D models and renders are rather garish to say the least. The levels themselves are rather uninspired and the final boss is somewhat of a letdown and a joke. 4-5/10 from me. A lot of people feel the same way. I would wait and buy it.
