idea for you that I got from watching this and you yelling about picking left; You and your opponent each have a spinner with cardinal directions, you call where you think the spinner will land and you get a buff if it's called correctly. if the spinner lands West, North or East those are of course Left, Center or Right, but if it lands South towards you then your opponent gets to choose your starter that round

@@kosgoth it's fine if you didn't know it, but to i will say it's anything but obscure, prankster pokemon are very common in competitive (mainly Tornadus and Whimsicott), so this mechanic comes out very often, there are even support pokemon, like Amoonguss or Cresselia, that sometimes specifically run tera dark to prevent being taunted by prankster users.

You should do this with prop hunt. Where you chose the starter you want and the opponent has like 4 min to try and find you. If he succeeds he can give you any mon he found on his hunt, but if the hider succeeds they get any ability

Here's an idea based on what was said at 4:40 timestamp (Sorry if this was already done lmao) Choose your starter, but you have fixed selections. Let me explain. With 6 rounds and 3 locations, each player can choose each location up to two times. So for example round 2, Shady chooses middle and round 4 he chooses middle, he can no longer get a pokemon from the center. Do this until you have a full team and then battle. I really hope to see this idea be done (if it hasnt already) love the videos

Battle Idea: Pokemon Shell Game. On your turn, you get to choose 1 legendary to pick from, and your opponent gets to pick 2 babies. ( Use the PC method for this, be the easiest way to do it. ) Randomize the order of those bad boys, then Blindly pick which number you want, and see if your a winning legend, or a crying baby. Random moves, abilities, and all that fun stuff. No pokemon can be selected twice, so if you miss the legend, you can't try again, and your opponent is locked out of it too. No skips, you get what you get, then you battle.

Fun idea, but the fact that the find is just luck (1/3 to guess) takes aways the mental games that we all love from this videos.... What if after choosing what to hide, you tell the other one the three Pokemons, so the have to guess if the other will go for a good pokemon, or if the go for a middle tier but secure the good abilities, or other chess like strategies, I think would be so cool that way

An idea for a “Then we battle” would be that you have to choose the Pokémon with the lowest BST among the 3 potential starters. But each player has the opportunity to choose the highest option and the second highest option once.

Video idea. You are traveling to different areas that consist random generated Pokémon. One of you have 2 minutes to go around and choose one Pokémon from area that he want and then go back to starting point. After that the other person have 4 minute to go around and 2 chances to guess what Pokémon their opponent chosen for their team. If guess is correct than Pokémon will have completely random move set and ability if not than you can choose one move and reroll ability once if you do not like one that you got.

@zachsnyder347 so, here's the wiki explanation: Generation VII onward Dark-type Pokémon are now immune to opposing Pokémon's moves that gain priority due to Prankster, including moves called by moves that call other moves (such as Assist and Nature Power) and excluding moves that are repeated as a result of Prankster-affected Instruct or moves that occur earlier than their usual order due to Prankster-affected After You. Ally Dark-type Pokémon are still affected by the user's status moves. So, I guess Pokemon just wanted to confuse people lol
