When ever mom used to make the recipe she adds milk, suger and khoya to make the chashni and also leave the bread to dry out a little bit so that it does not absorbe a lot of oil as fresh bread tends to take in a lot of oil. Thank you for the recipe chef, purani yaadein taza ho gai

I made it when guests came without notice.... Sweet banana tha.... And had lot of bread... Watched your video... And bana diya.... They were gonna come in 1 hour... I made it in 40 mins.... Heyi chef I'm super happy to see breads soaked in milk chashni.. No one else does..My mum makes it in this way.. And i too follow her recipes.. We add orange zarda colour in our chashni.. That orange hue is a treat to the eyes! ☺ PS: we have no connection with Lucknow.. But still milk chashni dekh kr i was over joyed

You can make condensed milk at home.. Take 1 cup milk in that add 1/2 cup sugar and continuously stir it on medium flame. Once the quantity becomes half switch off the flame and add pinch of baking soda in it and stir continously until mixture cools down. Ur condensed milk is ready

Need to try this... Friends, the sides when you trim them off and don't throw them. Make them small pieces, drizzle with olive oil n some pepper n salt n put them in oven...n make wonderful roasted breads tukra n go very well with tea. Zero wastage..you can also try this with little old breads may be one or two days post expiry which stays perfectly fine but still we throw it to dustbin. Check properly for fungus growth or any rancid smell before use.

I don't know but watching you again and again made think myself as a perfect cook. now I know what is the main time to add masalas what to while grinding something such as dry masalas needs salt and adding ice cubes can make chutney look green and fresh. Like these small small tips and tricks and hacks made me smarter than my mom, now I can tell what all the basic ingredients are there in normal common recipes that my mom makes. Thank you so much chef for making me feel that it's not just ingredients and flame under any pot but it's about actually cooking with experience and science behind it thanks a lot for me as confident as I can confidently and smartly cook after my marriage and make everyone think that I m a master chef 😎😎 loads of love from all of us and we love you so much 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

The explanation of Pao was wrong. The word comes from the portuguese word Pao meaning bread. Not from Pao as in 1/4th.
