I remind myself of the fact that we have been given a limited number of fard salah and every time we perform one, we get closer to using them all up. One day, we will be performing our final fard salah. This helps me realise that my salah is precious because I only have limited salah and I can’t be wasting it by performing it half heartedly. We’re not building up our number of prayers, we’re using them up. So use wisely and with intention. May Allah accept all our prayers, actions, and intentions.

Better not to pray salah in complete silence, rather utter every word in a low voice (whispering) and try to listen (follow) every single word you say. This helps to keep the focus or concentration in salah.

I am doing exactly the same but in the complete opposite way. I try to listen and think about the meaning of every words during Salah but I find it more easier if I don't make (almost) any noise when whispering the words. It force me to really make an effort and focus on saying the words out loud in my mind instead.

For me it helps me a lot to hear my voice as I am reciting everything during Salah... I make sure to say everything with recitation... Even in Ruku and Sujud...etc. it makes me much more focused! Also, as soon as I lose focus, I say: Audhu billahi min ashaitan irrajim! And blow slightly 3 times on my left side. And continue the prayer.

The 7 tips.(for those in a rush.) (please pin) 1) Pray in a simple place. Not a messy place or noisy one. 2) Silence your phone and put it away. 3) Take care of your needs before Praying. (eat if you're hungry and go to the bathroom if you need to). 4) Get rid of your sleepy mood. (wash your face with cold water and breath fresh air outside) 5) Correct your recitation and improve it. (Basically tajweed) It helps you concentrate more in salah. 6) Follow the movements of Salah appropriately. (Look up how the prophet did wudu2 and how the prophet prayed step by step.) 7) Remember before Starting to pray, who you are going to be in presence of. The sultan of the universe. Remember that everything you have today was given to you by allah and could be taken back at any moment including your very own soul. And finally, remember you are *not praying for pleasure*. You pray as a sign of your *loyalty to Allah*. Salat is the second *MOST* important thing to your deen after tawheed(shahada). It is your *RELATIONSHIP* with Allah all mighty. Don't mess up your relationship with allah. Pray. Pray no matter what. Even when you're tired and sleepy and want to go to bed, PRAY ISHA before. (Read your adkar too!) Because on the day of judgement, you will be proud that given every possible state you were in, you still prayed. And Allah knows this. For those who have trouble with Salat. I highly recommend this book: I missed a prayer by Islam Jamal. Please make duaa for me I have the BAC exam coming up. @@manmin517 I have been applying both @Lobnajamal114's and your advice. I read the translation and try to understand the tafsir when memorizing a new surah so when I recite it in the prayer, I also think about the meanings. I repeat it several times until I was sure not to forget the meaning then move on to memorizing another new surah. I think it works pretty good in helping me stay focus during Salah. Thats a good video. Every one face such problems while performing salah and shaitan brings such thoughts in mind to distract us from our salah. And after praying he tried to convince that you did not pray well or it was not good and whats the point of praying if you cant perform it well. There is a saying of Prophet Muhammed SAWW right now I dont remember the Hadith number exactly but you can find it easily In Shaa Allah. The saying of Prophet is if shaitan brings ill thoughts constantly in your mind while performing salah then say Aaozubillah completely and spit on your left side three times. Also try to recite surah and others prayers little bit loudly and it will help you focusing while performing salah. Jazak Allah khair.

It's not a technique but the first time I really feel focus in Salah was after I lost my Mother. I miss her so much but can't talk to her anymore and can't do anything for her anymore. On the other hand, I also understand that she's not really gone because she's in the hands of Allah. And Allah will always listen whatever and whenever we talk so Allah becomes the only connection I had with my Mother and so does praying (among other things like reading the Quran and trying to better myself as a Muslim).

Well I can give 3 tips that I sometimes follow in Sha Allah it will help you all. 1. Don't give attention to bad thoughts I know it's not easy but keep trying against the nafs and shaitan, remember is watching you. 2. You should learn and understand the meaning of all surahs and understand what you are saying .. don't cram like a parrot. Recite the all surahs sincerely. 3. Remember this might be your last Salah because death is not guaranteed your death can come at anytime. PRAY TO ALLAH TO IMPROVE YOUR FOCUS AND CONCENTRATION IN SALAH... MAY ALLAH MAKE EASY FOR US ❤🤲

Honestly all Non-Arab Muslims try to hard on focusing on how the recitation, Or try to follow useless tips that won't even help. Why are you praying? To connect with God right? So then do you understand? NO! So If you don't understand what you're doing infront of Allah then how can you focus? Learn the meaning and implement what your saying to your lord. I've tried this and this helped SO much better. Better than any other tips you'll take from those who don't know the meaning themselves. I tried this before. Imagine yourself on the sirath, hellfire are bellow you and Allah and his angels are watching you from the above, and Jannah is infront of you. While I'm having hard time focusin on that image nowaday in my salah, it still help me focus. As if I'm saying to myself "I should focus so I don't fall into the hellfire."

If im allowed to add one thing, i would say how our hand position in salah is the same as the hand position when we are in janazah. It reminds me of death, and if you think about your death, everything else seems trifling therefore, i prayed with more presence of mind. In addition, it makes me think about the Hereafter and less thinking about worldly and trifling stuff im gonna do after the salah

When I was 19 (which was like yeaars ago) shaytan used various methods to make me stop with my salah. First he made me put the salah off to last minute and if I missed the salah I would be like "oh darn it I missed it. Nevermind".. But I caught on quickly, the shaytan was pushing me to stop salah and so I pulled myself together and started to always pray on time. Then shaytan tried to make me pray sitting down. "Oh you are so tired, its ok" etc. I caught on quickly on that aswell and pulled myself together. And after that when shaytan understood he would not be able to make me stop praying my salahs, he started giving me vasvasa. And I have been having OCD problems with my salah for more than a decade now. Shaytan tries to make me stop with salah by taking away all the pleasure I got from salah. I have made my peace with it. OCD is horrible but its still better to pray my salahs even with OCD

i don't know if this is just me But i literally count with my fingertip lightly for every action & every verse, and then after the action finish then i pause for a bit to translate what i just recite to my language inside my heart if i pray in congregation, and sometimes it's quite fast i just translate the important bits while keeping up with imam also knowing which part of the salah that most often distrubed, also will help to anticipate before the action start
