Omg when mentioned the part of using unsweetened milk. I have definitely have done that this week. I poured some sweetened vanilla almond milk in a boiler and I was about add my pasta. God told you me to check to make sure the milk was unsweetened sure enough it was not. 😮

A box of prepared kraft mac and cheese has about 56g of sugar (lactose from powdered milk) A cup of sweetened plant milk only has around 7g so I couldn't imagine it being too terrible
