I searched up "Chicago Steppin'" because of Bernie Mac mentioning it in his final performance in Chi before he passed away. Glad to have come across this. Hella classy and smooth.

@@elaineewalt8137 SIMPLE !!! 🤷🏻♀️ !! Because people “OF COLOR” (whether black or brown) historically (AND STILL) would NEVER be welcome in an all white establishment - including a dance hall. That’s a fact, so let us stop PRETENDING that it isn’t. If you’re white and don’t like hearing it ....tough. But don’t expect people of color to subserviently pretend it DOESN’T exist JUST to please you! On the FLIP side of this societal norm, people of color have always welcomed whites into their establishments and EVERYONE knows this. I’m Puerto Rican born and raised in NYC and proud of it! They’re hating because they don’t have the smooth stepping in their feet and rhythm like these real dancers!! The junk and nonsense today looks like moon dancing and alien acrobats

Those are poor people, they have no sensitivity to enjoy smooth swinging and other people's happiness... they just choose to suffer

Reminds me of the club back in the 70's/80's. We dressed and danced together. Love this.
