I know this video is old, but I just wanted to tell you that you can use micropore tape for the same effect! 💕 Micropore tape is easy to cover with concealer or foundation, that means you can put the tape further down on your face to get a more dramatic effect and also cover it up 💕 just put the tape on the string you have for this haha 💕 cheaper and also it sticks better to the skin and lasts for days if you want!

Guys I kid you not! I've tried so many of the different face-lift tapes and none of them worked for me, if I sweat a little or blink too much they come right off. So I was online looking at some surgical tape and I seen on the reviews that someone said they use it for face lift! AND I KID YOU NOT!!!! It works yall! It's sweat and water proof! It's clear tape! And very flexible! I had it on all day and it still hasn't budged! I should have been tried this! It's the surgical tape they use to bandage things but I promise you! You cannot tell the difference! And I also used the band that came with the other face-lift tapes and just poked a hole through this tape with the silver clip of the band....THIS TAPE DOES NOT MOVE YALL AT ALL ! AND! It holds my face (eyes) up soooo tight!!! It seems so far as if I'm gonna have to peel it off myself when I'm ready to change it!

It is relatively easy to "hide" because it does not have the plastic piece. My hair is not very thick so I'm not sure the Art Harding brand would work for me. Laura, I think you look great without it!

I never laughed so hard at the installation of a beauty product! You are wonderful...a hoot but you look fabulous! Lucy Arnez used to tape her cheeks up the same way. I remember her doing a demonstration years ago. That is why she had the high cheek bone, no jowl look in her pictures; but I loved the way you were at ease to laugh at yourself. Great video!

Hi from London. I too was laughing so much at your video because I have been using this product for about 2 years. I think it’s fantastic. It takes a good 15/20 years off me. The only downside is, that the rubber fastener keeps sliding down the back of my head and, it feels like the elastic is going to slice my ears off. The upside is, you don’t feel the pain after a few large vodkas!! X

I am so lucky because my best friend is gay and, when we are out, he keeps checking to see if you can see the band!! I also have Botox and fillers. I have had tear duct filler and temple fillers. I am just watching your video on aloe Vera and goats milk products. Really interesting. I totally agree about the soap. Use a hair topper. Short wigs just for the top of your head. I use them in between hair color treatments. That said, I’ve used these and they’re okay as long as your skin stays dry.

When they make clear duct tape I’m in. Duct tape holds everything but you might have the sticky residue on your body for 6 months, no lie, I have used it to lift my saggy legs. That adhesive won’t go away!

After surgery tape was a total misery to remove I found great adhesive remover pads online (medical grade), just wear gloves if you wear nail polish, but they should work on duct tape too 😜

I wouldn't use it, cause I had a semi lift. You look younger and don't need a lift by the way. Good face structure, shape and skin. I would not get a lift if I was you, just resort to non surgical face tightening treatments and good skincare routine. My Lift healed Ok around the ears, jowels, cheeks. except under the chin where the skin was stretched took aged to heal, was wrinkled, bumpy, and fluid. Apparently, all the fluids run down the face to under the chin in a lift, and if they use too much fluid, area might need draining. So procedures are not always symptom free, error free.

It definitely works. Used that product for years and years. BUT Each set of elastic near pins wears out quickly. And tape can slide on foundation in ANY heat. Sometimes people can see it.

You look fab.... no tape needed, seriously! I just started using some neck and jaw line tape ( another brand).... it works ok. Tape has never come undone( I need a face lift or at the very least fillers and even some chin lipo, but my finances unfortunately don’t allow for it). Your video is so funny and I see a slight difference but you look so great without it you really could skip it. I couldn’t see it, but did the tape in front of your ears show? Also did it slide down the back of your head as you wore it which I’ve read many people say happens? I’d of like to have seen the back of your hair after you fixed the band, but regardless the video overall was funny, useful, and informative. Thx!

Gail… The tape actually stayed in place beautifully. I wore it for several hours. I let the band rest at the bottom of my head and kept the elastic behind my ears. hey gail t !! i saw another video where the makeup artist put the top section of the hair up as well but then made a small braid at the back center of the head from the hair underneath and then put the elastic through the braid to keep it from sliding down and covered it with the top section of the hair to cover the braid/elastic (same as here but she was using the mark traynor tapes though.... :))

IDK if you would be interested but I just saw a lady make one, THAT IN MY OPINION, looked like it would be better than the tape,,she actually made it using two hairclips, the kind that open n close, also a couple rubber bands...girl the one she made went in the same area as your tape, she even had to pick up some of her hair so the rubber band would not be seen,,and instead of tape, the hair clip,,,pulled the hair which accomplished the exact same results I am going to make me one lolol

I've used these and they DO work but it takes practice and patience to get them positioned to they give the maximum lift, they don't show and they don't hurt, especially around the ears.

I've also tried the tapes that are only the tapes, they don't have the attaching band that goes around your head. They do NOT work, AT ALL, at least not for "real" old ladies (over 60), with real old wrinkles that run from the sides of your nose down the sides of your mouth to the bottom of your chin and look more like ditches than wrinkles! *sniff* The product you demonstrated doesn't completely fill in the ditches, either, but DOES lift enough to make it worth the cost (which isn't all that bad) AND the learning curve that you must be committed to if you're to get the best results and a fit that doesn't poke you around your ears to a point that you can't stand to wear them very long. It just takes determination and practice. ALSO, you MUST use rubbing alcohol to clean thoroughly the entire area around your ears, where the tapes will adhere. If you get that area really good and clean, and let it dry, the tapes will easily stay secure for an entire day, at least. Do one tape at a time, and once each is in place, cover it with your finger and hold there for at least 30-45 seconds.....DO NOT SKIP THAT PART, it is critical for a secure hold!! You do this before you hook the two elastic pieces together (on the back of your head) so that the tapes are secure enough to withstand the pull and not come off. After you're all done getting them on, you can apply foundation or powder over the TOP of the tapes, just be sure it's clean UNDER the tapes.

I’m in that age group that could use not only the face/neck lift options but enough tape to wrap around my ENTIRE body! Maybe if I started at my ankles, wrapped it tighter as I went up my body, then just mayyybe my breasts would end up where they were 20 years ago. One remains hopeful. However, you do NOT need this tape at all as you’re beautiful the way you are now. Gonna say you appear to be about 15-20 years away from needing any tape! Your spirit glows and that’s ever so much better than tape. I’m not at all opposed to tape, injectables or surgery but you’re a few years away from those options. Thanks for the visual when you mentioned you didn’t want the tape to break and go zinging off. I actually did laugh out loud because that would’ve been my first thought too. Yes… The plastic pieces hook in the back of your head. I ended up letting it rest at the base of my head and left the elastic behind my ears. I trimmed the longer piece with the holes because it was too long once I had it adjusted to the size of my head. That made it easy to cover up and it stayed on beautifully. Very nice! Thank you for checking out a new idea with us, as I was wondering what kind of tape is used for a "tape" lift. You might need a wig, but if not mistaken there is a tape, there is SOME thing, used for a natural lift. I've seen it used, with a wig, not aware of the elastic around the head. You look great with and without the lift, a difference is definitely noted. Looks 👍❣

That is a great question. I have never worn this long term so I really can’t give you an answer. But I agree with the others. I just wouldn’t pull it too tight. This video was a first impression. If you place your fingers where you want to lift and gently move the skin you can feel how far it can move before it stretches. If it is uncomfortable, pinching, or overly noticable it is too tight. I would only use something like this for an event or photoshoot etc. Not for wearing all day everyday. Repeat use of alcohol and adhesive on the skin isn't good for it, especially on the same area. I guess this could be a good way to see how you'd look with a face lift and how people would react to your new appearance before getting surgery.

Omg I always wondered about this product! Thanks for trying it and giving me a good laugh! I would be terrified to wear it anywhere thinking that the tape might let go and I would look like I was having a stroke! One minute you’re 30 years old, and the next minute you’re 65! Shake Up Makeup Most celebrities, and certainly for red carpet events, are using face tape, glue in hair extensions, pits to knees spanx, push up padded bras, white tooth paint, and the usual contouring foundation, multiple sets of false eyelashes, etc. And I am, of course, referring mostly to John Travolta......😎 But with a handful of rare exceptions, NONE of them look like their public image when hanging out at home or running a quick errand.
