Saw him last night with Sierra Ferrell (Think a young Dolly Parton). He threw in Pixies and David Bowie. Then in the 2nd half he did his busking act and played non stop for 30 minutes. Even kept playing while he fixed his drum pedal.

There is always a place for different genres of music! My friends & family think I listen to weirdest music but I am cut from a different cloth! I listen to everything! Umm..I was obsessed with Jeff Buckley and omg the chills I got when I heard this!!! I would have stopped the world for Jeff Buckley's voice and his words, it didn't even hit me a hard time in my life or even speak to me in my situation then, but it resonated so much that I literally couldn't contain the emotions I felt..and all I could do was cry, he teared up a little too, because he knew I 100% had 'the ear'..the first time my dad played his version of hallelujah..on a Casette tape that he recorded from a radio station (oh imagine the excitement in your life just sitting and waiting to record a song off the radio because it spoke to you...I envied him back then but that's what I strive for today to one day in the future sit and have several drinks and hit record whenever music speaks to me...I mean what Else in life could you want)

Always reminds me of my very first lsd experience when i was peaking at a highschool party at a friends and no one but my friend mike was aware that i was tripping because he was too. There was a pool lit up and it had a light green color and the water jets were creating those ripples that manipulated the light and i laid down on my back with my head over the edge of the pool and let my long hair hang into the water and as i bent my head backwards turning my world literally upside down and those ripples became huge waves crashing in a violently beautiful way and that became my sky and i lifted my legs into the sky which was crystal clear with tons of stars and in that moment i knew nothing was as it seems and i became more aware of how complex and profound creation really is. Gods finger prints are all over this brief experience in our eternal existence.
