The term "agender" has helped me to pin down my feelings (or should I say 'lack' of feelings) surrounding my own gender identity. It has helped me to clarify things that confused me or caused me distress in the past. This clarity has been relieving and allowed me to put some things to rest in my head.

I came to see what difference is there in agender and non binary, can someone explain, I didn’t really get it
@Mircalla6 жыл бұрын
For all the confused people: Sex and gender are different things. Your sex is defined by what is between your legs and your chromosomes, and your gender exists in your mind. There is a correlation between the two, but they are definitely different things. So, your sex can be male but your gender can be female, for example. We would call that person a trans-woman. Gender exists on a spectrum, with male at one end and female at the other, and everything in the middle of that spectrum is known as "non-binary". "Agender" is a specific type of non-binary identity.
Great explanation Tho I thought agender was having no gender, not even non binary

If a comment section on KZbin makes you cry, you need help. A death of a friend or family member? I get it. Being physically accosted or assaulted? I get it. Having a serious argument or fight with a significant other, close friend or family member? I get it. Watching Awakenings? I get it. However reading comments on KZbin and crying means that you’re mentally weak. You’re choosing to allow the statements someone else is making to offend you. That’s your fault. You don’t have to take anything to heart that you choose not to. You choose to allow to let statements hurt your feelings. Pure and simple.

Frahh's closet You call them by their name or you can also remove the subject most sentences, if they are the subject its going to be assumed. its not very difficult, it just takes some getting used to if you are used to using gendered speech. Maybe it takes a little brushing up on grammar skills, but think about what you are saying and when you can use names instead, and when you can just drop the gendered words and not replace them. They/them is a fine universal pronoun if you get stuck. Sean Hannity isn't even triggered over being called a them, so don't worry about it.

Ok I’m like so confused about what gender I am. Like I’m absolutely fine when someone refers to me as she, he, or they, but I don’t like being considered a boy, girl, or non-binary. Like sometimes I feel feminine, but I don’t feel extremely feminine, and theirs still a bit of masculine feeling at the same time if that makes sense? Like i never feel a strong connection to any certain gender, just I sometimes lean a lil but more towards one gender than the others. But even when I’m feeling masculine, I don’t really feel offended or anything like that if someone calls me she. Idk I’m just super confused-

i personally identify as agender because i feel like theres always some sort of bias or prejudice when you state your gender, sexism is ingrained into our society and our brains and it’s just not possible for someone to have _no_ subconscious stereotypes guiding their interaction with someone of a certain gender. i consider myself transmasc because i enjoy he/him pronouns and like the subconscious perception of being masculine or even some of the stereotypes (the subtle subconscious stereotypes that add up not the “boys don’t cry” or something) but i identify as agender.

I was raised up in a Christian household. Our belief starts with how God took a rib out of Adam and created wo-man with his rib. Man and woman share many similar features and feelings. I'm a woman somedays I feel more like a man somedays more feminine. I think this is just normal. Why does it need to be more complicated than that? I'm just learning about this never heard of agender before. But I think the need to classify things sometimes complicates a very normal human experience. We all feel like this sometimes in my opinion. Or am I misunderstanding?

I’ve honestly been really confused and I actually somewhat figured it out I actually feel more like a she/they I think I’m agender but get confused because it means gender less I believe? I really honestly want to change myself to match myself cause honestly I just don’t feel like myself?
