washed my hair last week and I have to say i'm very impressed. My hair was very clean and was not over stripped. It felt like a shampoo and conditioner in one.I used the lavender swirl bar and it left my hair smelling good all week.

hi.. I've used argan rain natural shampoo for about a year; I can say I have lost no more and it stop my loss, I tried other brands but my scalp broke out, so this has been the only thing that helped, also it leaves your hair in great condition, so perhaps no conditioner is needed for use with this product,; smells good, sulfate, alcohol, dye and salt free.

That was nice to watch. lol. Okay I've always wondered. Why a shampoo "bar" for locks vs liquid all natural shampoo in a bottle. I"ve only used a bar once, on my loose natural hair actually(I am no locked) and it lathered up the same hair was sort of dry but wondered what was the purpose of it being in a bar vs liquid.

There are a couple on her website that she says are best for newbie locs, it is in the description of the shampoo bar. One is the "amber nights" bar, the other one is "hemp honey"---the dry conditioning mist is also safe for newbie locs

I have "traditional locs" (small/medium size) will this cause a build up? I've tried other shampoo bar and the build up was horrible

Hi Danielle. Great question. Please know that I create products with our locs in mind...many people/companies do not. I too have used many shampoo bars on the market which left my locks feeling stiff with build up. If you start out with locs with no build up in them, you'll find that these shampoo bars rinse very cleanly without film, tackiness or build up. It took me many many months to create recipes that achieved this result. So if locs have build up in them already, I would suggest a deep cleansing with a clarifying shampoo and an apple cider and vinegar rinse BEFORE using the shampoo bars because it may be difficult for one to determine their effectiveness.

Hi Naemmah. Congratulations on your decision to Free Form! The shampoo bars are not a locking agent and will only do what a shampoo is meant to do and that is to clean the hair. As a matter of fact, you won't and don't need any type of "locking agent" or pomades to grow your locs. Your free form locs will be growing out of your head very strong and healthy. Keep them clean, conditioned and moisturized. Along with a healthy diet and regular exercise, you will be setting yourself up for the absolute best environment to promote super fast growth of your free form locs...promise!
