@Not_CIA5 жыл бұрын
It does suck when someone dies of cancer, but honestly because of the personal attachment the assessment is a bit off. Cancer death rates are at an all time low due various treatment options. It's more hopeful for people to understand there is a high chance cancer is not a death sentence in a majority of cases.

it was extremely irresponsible for them to trash chemo just because it didnt work for their dad. @tedpabst59975 жыл бұрын
It does depend alot on the scenarios, the real problem with chemo is that its a pretty old treatment (by modern standards) and we have yet to really find anything better than just poisoning your body in the hopes that it kills the cancer before it kills you. But to be fair to the doctors, its their job to try and cure you with anything they can, and unfortunately chemo is just the most effective way of getting rid of cancer thats been medically approved
@Haggard31525 жыл бұрын
Chemo saved me when I was 2 so yeah that whole point was weird for me and I strongly disagree with the idea that it's not a solution, it depends so much on the situation and person affected. My thoughts are with them for their loss though and I feel for them.

Idk how they do it, but when I worked at a pizza restaurant you definitely just cook it as one lol like it takes the same amount of time to cook. @seal72245 жыл бұрын
Say the place is about to get busy and the kitchen prepares one pepperoni one sausage, and one cheese just so they can be fast. Say someone orders half cheese half sausage. They could cut them up. Obviously this would not be cost effective during a slow time, but during a rush it is cheap

I worked at Chuck E. Cheese restaurants from my late teens up into my mid 20s and I just have to say there just isn't enough damn space in the kitchen to have any kind of stockpile of pre-made pizza. If you want half pepperoni and half sausage we don't Frankenstein two half pizzas together, we just put pepperoni on half of it and sausage on the other half (that's why 9 times out of 10 at least 1 of your sausage slices has that little sliver of pepperoni.) That would take more time and effort and lead to way more waste than making the pizza to order. The dough is prepped and panned to proof in batches according to what the GM estimates the shifts sales are going to be. A batch might look something like: 66 large, 44, medium, 20 small, 35 individual. It only takes 5 and a half minutes for a pizza to go through the oven and it's big enough that you can easily stagger a new one onto the conveyor belt every 30 seconds or so. The reason the pizzas look the way they do, I'm fairly positive, is a combination of two things. 1: We're often pretty shitty at the process of sliding the pizza off of the mesh screen it goes through the oven on and onto the cutting block, and then back off of the cutting block into the serving tray it gets delivered on. We'll often try to fix it by pulling or pushing pieces in and out a bit to make it look more presentable and more often than not we'll actually end up making it worse but at a certain point you just have to send it out because there are pizzas pilling up on the oven behind you and if you don't get to cutting the ones in the middle are gonna get burnt to shit. And 2: I feel like they obviously manipulated those slices in order to make it look like that... Around 1:08:36 in the video we see a large pepperoni next to a large cheese, which look fine to me (not sure what he's pointing at.) Then at 1:08:57 we see what looks to me like the previous 2 pizzas were cut in half and mixed together. Here is the closest possible to any kind of pizza reuse you could have reasonably expected during my pretty close to 10 years there: Say you order a sausage, olive, and bell pepper pizza and the dumb ass in the kitchen forgets to put your olives on. Instead of making you a new pizza from scratch we're probably gonna toss some olives and a pinch of extra cheese and bell pepper onto it and stick it straight into the last quarter of the oven so it goes through just enough to warm those new ingredients up. I'll go a step further actually and admit that I can recall a time that we ended up with one too many fully cooked plain cheese pizzas and converted into a supreme with extra cheese that the party dad fucking raved about on his way out the door. Finally... And I know I'm going on a rant here, but as previously mentioned I spent damn near 10 years working for um and I clicked on this video hoping to hear something about the actual good conspiracies that might be/ probably are true. This is weak sauce. But anyways, unless things have changed since I left (and I doubt they have) there haven't been pitchers at Chuck E. Cheese restaurants since like the mid 90s. There is a large and a small beer which I'd estimate from memory to be 24oz and 16oz and they definitely aren't cheap. We have to scan your id for the system to allow us to sell you a beer, and the system will only sell you something like 2 beers an hour. There's plenty of over-drinking that happens there, but it's usually parents sneaking in bottles and mixing that into their unlimited soda refills or drinking beer in the parking lot. And really finally this time... As far as them getting in: those aren't security guards at the "kid check" area, they are teenagers making minimum wage. The whole thing is just for show anyways... you telling me you spent a whole day at Chuck E. Cheese and didn't wash your hands once? We pretend we're reading those numbers but it's often more like "kids got ink on his hand and he isn't screaming, let him through."

@@kalebsok2947 This. Ethan!!! Noooo! What you said about fevers isn’t true. With some infections, your immune system is activated by the bacteria/virus to increase the body’s “set temperature.” Normally, this is 98.5F. Once your body has the new, higher set temp - 101F or higher - your body reacts to your normal, healthy temp as though it were a too-cold temp. You feel cold! You shiver to warm up, and your instinct is to increase your temp. You should not take a cold shower to lower your temp, but a fever-reducing NSAID, like ibuprofen, is a good idea.
