I’ve enjoyed these interviews with Shane, and he seems like a sharp, genuine guy. As a public school teacher (specifically a special education teacher, like Shane was), though, I can understand why Shane’s son’s school wouldn’t allow him to shadow/attend school for a day. Just the logistics alone of having to be open and available during instruction to all parents/guardians (we’re talking a group of potentially thousands of people) might be a bit unreasonable, to say the least, so the school likely wasn’t trying to hide anything. The vast majority of us are not attempting to indoctrinate your kids with a liberal agenda, folks: we’re simply trying to help them to become successful, independent people, and it’s a lot of work. 😊

I don’t have a question for Shane … But if you talk to him again and I’m sure he doesn’t remember but I’ll never forget it .. I drove 31/2hrs to Chillicothe OHIO he was performing and doing a meet and great but the weather was absolutely horrible his flight was delayed so he didn’t make the meet and greet.. He had an amazing street fight match with Bobby Fulton btw the only reason I went to this and bought vip meet and greet tickets was for one reason and one reason only and that was to meet Shane .. He’s absolutely one of my all time favorite Wrestlers .. And it’s so cool to respect and appreciate someone and you end up finding out this person is genuinely a great man.. He was in this long hard fought bloody match it was the main event.. So when this match was over the show was over .. I go up to this man I’m assuming he’s Shane’s security I tell him my story I drove 3 1/2 hrs to meet him I totally understand why he didn’t make the meet and greet but is there anyway I can get a photo with him.. He says I’ll go ask him .. This man didn’t owe me shit I’m sure the last thing he wanted to do was to come out of that dressing room but I tell you what he immediately comes out offers me a handshake takes like 4 or 5 photos and just absolutely treated me with so much respect.. I’m sure he hasn’t given two thoughts of that evening.. But I hope this truly gets back to him in someway.. It absolutely meant the world to me and other than marrying my wife and my 2 beautiful daughters being born it’s one of the greatest moments of my life !! And it’s just awesome to meet someone I mean I know people that have met someone famous that they loved and they were assholes but Shane was absolutely the opposite.. Brother I know it was just a few minutes of your time but it made a lifetime memory for myself! And I sincerely thank you sir!! Not just for that moment but all the sacrifices you’ve made in your life to entertain us fans and I sincerely mean that .. Im not just being a MARK but you literally became my favorite wrestler I was 13yrs old and you come out half of the dynamic dudes .. I followed your career from then on and even when you was getting paid for us to hate you lol I freaking loved it!! Even when you had in my opinion some of the best damn heat in the business when you led the Triple Threat btw one of the most underrated factions of all time I was still a huge fan and I was throwing up the 3 brother .. I truly hope this story gets back to him to how much it truly meant to me to take those few minutes of his time but gave me a memory of a lifetime … Once again Shane thank you brother for all the sacrifices you made throughout your life to let me escape reality on a weekly basis to forget about the every day stress and struggles in life that we all go through ,when you was on tv i didn’t have a struggle, stress or a worry in the world because I was so damn entertained!!

Troy Martin is the most screwed over wrestler I’ve ever seen next to Owen Hart. Owen should have been champion in 1998 against DX and Shane Douglas should have been the Franchise in WWF as Owen’s buddy. They would have been fire heels. I have a ton of respect for both guys as a Canadian who values real wrestling.

He brings a lot of it on himself. He always think he knows better and rubs people the wrong way and does not know when to keep his mouth shut, Problem is he is probably a little too smart for the business. I am a big Shane fan and he did get screwed over by The Kliq.

Third Time Was Charm for Shane for sure. I really liked to hear him talking about Ricky Steamboat who he mentions in his famous ECW Title declaration after winning NWA heh. I don't know if Sid is thin skinned but that would explain why his leg snapped. I Scream when I see things like that happen from Hayabusa moonsault to Mike Awesome having rough landing on one on him too. There some black wrestler who like broke neck doing a flip but can't recall name. Raven doing the 3D to Conquisitor or how spell. Flair was not really watching matches is what started major divide it seems over everything else. Great Story about Doink among other things didn't recall. Especially Triple Threat. The Pay Story heh. Rubber Wood hehe.

I work with a guy like Flair. He is so glib. He asks you really pointed personal questions and you think he really cares, then you hear him talk shit about people he is equally as glib with and you know he does the same behind your back. Or he will ask you a random question and hou realise he hasn't been listening to a word you've said. Or if he has a problem with you he'd get a manager to address it, rather than just ask. Granted he isn't likely to whip the Ahmed Johnson out and woooo,but the other similarities are their.

Thank you Shane for another great interview. Just a quick question that maybe someone can answer. Francine had mentioned during a interview that Paul Haymen still owes her and other former ECW talent money to them. Just wanted to know if this is still true today and with Paul Haymen being so successful in WWE if he made any attempt to pay said money back to the ECW talent that worked for him back in the day.

Considering Shane Douglas is one of the best straight outters out there, I'd like to hear his thoughts on the various conspiracy theories on 9/11.
@BiscoWho Жыл бұрын
What do you mean, "conspiracy theories"? Are you referring to the 9/11 commission's laughable conspiracy theory, or are you just referring to NIST's HILARIOUS pancake conspiracy theory? I mean, I think we've heard those conspiracy theories for far too long. But, it might be interesting to hear him talk about what really happened. Seeing that we now know that the JFK assassination was 100% for sure the coup d'etat that we thought it was, it's interesting to think about how things would've played out had it not happened. Obviously, 9/11 never happens if that coup never happens. That's just one example. I'd enjoy hearing Shane's in-depth thoughts on how things would've played out, had the coup not happened, from then til now.

The schools can't allow parents to be on campus even for "shadowing" purposes. It's too much of a risk to the other minors on campus. Shane may be well intentioned but that is not the case for others.
