Kevin has actually said in another shoot 'all finishes are final', and it wasn't up for debate. I've heard Shane say this on two shoots now, so he is consistent with his story. To me it makes better business sense to keep the town strong to do a 'hot finish', but the Kliq were only keen on doing what was 'best for business' when it was their business.

@@wbmeprograms4505 unless we're all misinterpreting Kevin's words..... He might be talking about the incident where Pierre wouldn't do the job for Shawn in Canada after Pierre talked to Jacques. There's another story about ICP where people infer kev and Scott where in a car with ICP, but they weren't. It's what makes Kevin a master storyteller. The Kliq all make excuses for their actions even to this day. They needed to get beat up to teach them a lesson and to teach Vince McMahon a lesson that bullying is not tolerated. That's how you deal with bullies. So either Vince was also bullied by the Kliq or he had a sexual relationship with one of several of them. Kevin Nash in every shoot interview has said he didn't care if he buried other wrestlers even if it was bad for business. His ego along with the other members was so big that they didn't care about anyone else. Just like any other gimmick or character it eventually dies out and they ruined careers for their own personal gain not for anything else. It kills me that wrestlers want to stay loyal to Vince McMahon after the things he that he let go on for so many years in his company.

@ofs825 жыл бұрын
probably because PCO is now a pretty big deal, and the Quebecers had been rather cast to the scrapheap of history for some time, partly because of the Kliq effectively writing them out of history, so a lot of people who discovered PCO from his modern work and wondered why the hell they hadn't seen much of him being utilised in his prime have discovered this story in later years and Shane's direct involvement in it has meant he's been asked about it repeatedly, or may have heard it on an earlier shoot but not attributed quite so much relevance to it because the Quebecers were fairly little-heralded at the time and not remembered it compared to other stories.

People like Shane Douglas always fail in this world. He is too honest, too fair, too self-aware, too humble and too smart. If you're in a new company and you see the top guys being like the Kliq was and you see the boss is down with them, you better learn to BS and play politics, because that's how you will survive. Never confront them, remain neutral, be good to everyone, work hard, don't take anyone's side openly, never lecture these top guys on why you think they are wrong and you will survive abd even thrive. But try to be a courageous person who isn't afraid to call out BS and you're going down. Cool guy, but he is idealistic to a fault.
