I'm an network engineer and I'd get cold calls from salespeople like you all the time lol. Now obviously I understand they're trying to subtely get information out of me, but it was always refreshing when they would just get straight to the point instead of starting their sales pitch

I tell the people who ask me in Walmart or Target who try to sign me up for Cable or Internet etc I tell them that I cant have internet due to my probation and it's over quick If it's a petition at the front door , I tell them I'm a felon and can't vote or if my daughter is with me as to not embarrass her ... I say I'm from Canada None of those things are true fwiw
