I think one thing that Chris doesn't get enough credit for is not interrupting when a wrestler is going off an interesting tangent, and then actually listening and even riffing on it afterwards rather than just immediately going back to the next question he was gonna ask. Sometimes those tangents end up being more interesting than the original question.

I was an INSANE mark for The Hurricane in my early teens. So underrated as an overall talent. But it allowed him to be a great underdog. I'll never forget him hitting a chokeslam on the Rock. I wasn't really even a "smart" fan at that time. But something inside me knew he had The Rock's respect.

I remember watching WCW Thunder, as we didn't get Nitro, and he always stood out (lots of garbage on that show). He was a great worker with incredible timing/personality. His run as Hurricane was so much fun, and his little feud with the Rock was the best aspect. Btw Chris, I haven't watched one of your interviews in a quite a while, you're such a natural at this now. You always had the gift, but there are levels to this type of stuff, and you are definitely at the top of your game. It helps to have a strong partner like Helms of course, but all the credit your hard work! Congratulations P.S. You need to be conscious of the audio levels of your advertisements, scared the shit out of me and startled my dog lol. I know it's a tactic for commercials, but it doesn't work well for podcasts.

The talk about WCW cruiserweighta and what producers do got me thinking. Is Kidman still producing for WWE too? He was my first favorite wrestler back in his Jorts days in WCW. He was being pushed hard in WCW at one point and was, IIRC one of the more successful WCW guys during the invasion. No one ever interviews him. That could be a great sitdown.

The last time I watched him doing some sort of Podcast on youtube, he was expressing his displeasure with Shawn Michaels, to put it the nice way. It was quite some years back, at a time you could think he was done with WWE. IDK if his opinion of Shawn has changed, or he just made peace with it, or if it was the time Shawn just had started to change, but was still more the "old" Shawn. As Shane said in that video that on one side Shawn talks about Jesus and in the next moment he gives people crap for no reason.
