I love that there is no shot clock. It's much more relaxing to watch in my opinion

I agree. I think it lets you see more of what the players can do when not hurried.

It's amazing how much the shot clock makes watching pool more enjoyable. The absence of the shot clock here makes this a painful watch. Some of the agonising over shots (by both players) is kind of ridiculous, imho.

it gives time for both player to not rush shots that are important and give each shot their full focus instead of worrying about loud beeping noise

@richard0807 Go watch a game show. Let the rest of us enjoy the buildup of tension and the higher quality of play that results.

Pool desperately needs a shot clock. Kazakis is PAINFUL to watch... strolls around the table... takes forever to get down... I love match room's support of pool, but 9 ball without a shot clock is nearly unwatchable. I LOVE pool and I can hardly watch this 😮😮😮.

@@mikewarner3597 um yea it does. not sure if you micro d has clouded your brain. pool has a shot clock, thus your statement is false. any round that has a ref should have a shot clock, but it might be about resources which is understandable.

Who is the commentator on there with JJ hollering at ? Hopefully not me. I don’t need to hear that crap. His microphone doesn’t go out to the audience. Must just be a dummy. (?)

These commentators seem to be afraid of Matchroom.(Emily) . When they mention Joey Tate shooting the “wrong “ ball in his match with SVB, they fail to mention that initially it is Matchroom that decides to put in a ball with a color that is and has been for hundreds of years, the proper next ball for Joey to shoot.Hard to fault Joey,(him being a junior player trying his best at a Pro level tournament.)since every pool room in the World uses a purple 4 ball. And ,Most tournaments will still use a purple 4 ball. There are, of course those that still use a pink 4 ball for TV (Which did not work) But only because they still have them and to replace them is an expense, and they don’t really hurt anything. But to put a purple ball in as a 5 instead of a 4, is having devastating results. For its not only Joey that has made that shot on the purple 5, when they meant to be shooting at a 4 ball. I have read of many top pros doing it and have seen Jason Shaw. The players seem to be afraid to complain or to even stick-up for one another because they fear repercussions from Matchroom. (Emily) I believe every professional player in the world knows that the purple 5 ball is a mistake. And perhaps it will take Barry Hearn to correct the mistake. But I don’t think he will until his appointed CEO screws up other things.Well,we will just have to wait,; she will, if she can screw up something as bad as a purple 5 ball (and not be able to admit it) and not correct it, I believe it’s just a matter of time till she screws up stuff Barry will not over look ! adios

JJ is a bad commentator, constantly saying things like:. He went to far, or he probably wanted to get more on that, pisses me off.. it's ignorant and disrespectful to the players! It's piss off having to turn the sound off when ever he's commentator!
