Bought them based on your review and a couple of other reviews. Took up gravel racing as a retirement project and used the pedals both on my 2024 Giant Revolt Advance 0 and my 20-year old Trek 2300 road bike. Performed flawlessly over about 3,000 km of riding in various conditions, including Belgian Waffle Ride B.C. in September. As a consequence of my project, lost weight and reduced my resting heart rate by about 10 bpm.

Don't have the Pro MX, but still use my 3.5 year old Assioma Duo. Recently did a lab test with my own bike on a calibrated cyclo something trainer, and the guy running the test told me the numbers he saw from the Favero pedals were spot on everytime he saw them on a bike, as were mine. Constantly within +/- 1% across all power levels, from easy 130w to 345w vo2 (for me) and during a 960w avg for 20s sprint with a peak of nearly 1150w. My 3.5yo pedals holding up great. Battery life is still like new. Only thing I wish for is that Favero releases the Pro MX-2 with a road pedal body. It'd be an instant buy from me.

Assioma Uno on my road bike, MX1 on the gravel. The Unos are about 5 years old now, couple of bearing replacements is about it, probably 30,000 km or so in that time. Power numbers still apparently unchanged( as is my overall fitness basically unchanged over that period). The MX1s I have had since release, zero issues although they don’t seem quite as secure as the previous Shimano SPD pedals, mostly in the sense of seemingly more float, zero accidental releases. Power numbers match the road pedals so far as I can see. Love ‘em both!

Have loved my Assioma Duos, which are just beginning to creak finally after 3 and a half years of being faultless - left pedal intermittently reading high/low showing as ridiculous imbalance suddenly but probably related to a badly needed bearing replacement that I have had the spares for but hadn't got round to 🤞

I have MX-1. Awesome stuff. Got 2 rides with it in heavy rain, once it went totally under water. The only issue after all that was some squeaking noise which turned out to come from that red plastic ring around the axle, one which marks the power pedal (same ring is black on non-power one). I made service on that pedal and inside it was all OK. Originally I had some up to 8% difference between that pedal and my tacx neo, but after more tests it turned out it's asymmetry in my legs which, for some reasons, becomes bigger when riding low watts (around 100W). On higher powers, the difference is

I have the Pro MX-2s and they are great pedals. I have however shifted them to my backup gravel bike as I have found clip in with them is slightly more difficult than an XTR pedal. Maybe it is me and muscle memory though it is very noticeable that they do not clip in as well for me compared to the XTR pedals. I also have the Duo SHIs on my primary road bike and these are fantastic. Not trying to bash Favero as they are doing a lot of awesome here, though wish the clip in engagement paralleled the XTRs.

As an aside, you mention the Favero Assioma firmware updates. Anybody having issue with this update just not working? The android app has got some slating in the past for not working. Tried 4 different android devices on 4 different android versions with fully charged up pedals. Connects fine and can change settings and calibrate, but the firmware update always fails in the final update process on the left pedal. Logged it with Favero, just wondering if I'm alone in this?

Look like people enjoy PRO MX so I might be an outlier having real bad experience with it. (have to note Assioma support was quite helpful) I find it just an inferior as a pedal compared to normal XTR. Binding tension felt way weak so I clip out straight up by VO2 efforts multiple times on both legs (probably 400-500w for 4min 5times) The worst part was.. when I keep tightening the binding tension, the spring snapped. Assioma support was quite helpful diagnosing the issue but since I bought from local distributor who was bit condescending, I just decided stop using it. I had no issue with normal XTR and Quarq combination so for me it was definitely no go. The only silly reason I tried it is because I wanted to use 43/30 SRAM chainring which isn't compatible with Quarq.

I bought there pedals. I bought directly from Favero but the shipping company they used over charged me on import costs an issue I’m still dealing with. Favero is uninterested in the fact that the shipping company is gouging their customers so not particularly happy with Favero I’m getting a significantly higher power reading compared to my old Stages so initially I wasn’t sure if it was reading right but i think that they are most probably giving the correct reading. I like the cycling dynamics data, very useful but what is slightly annoying is every time I go for a ride is get hit with having to do a recalibration. I find them hard to clip into compared to my shimano mountain bike pedals. It’s interest that the mag charger is using a mini-USB instead of USB-C. Considering the EU made such a big deal over Apple not using USB-C and insisting that everything should be standardised around USB-C I’m surprised that Favero is using a non-compliant connection. If they update their road pedals to the same style with the power metre in the spindle, I’ll most probably get those but will buy locally. My biggest concern is battery life and the lack of serviceability on replacing dead batteries it time will tell if these become expensive toys in the rubbish bin because of dead batteries
