I know many people devoted in animal rescue in China and I also participated when I was there. Now I’m in SA also many rescues here. Animal protection is a topic that need to be addressed in every country. I’m watching this and crying it’s so hard. I pray for a better world. 🙏🏼

He is such a gentle soul. I cried when he was looking at the orphaned puppies with such despair. I live in China too, and I've rescued several cats myaelf over the years, it's such a rewarding yet heartbreaking experience.

Before I became unemployed I used to donate most of my income to animal rescues and do animal advocacy and now I can't even see an animal in distress or calls for help because there's almost nothing I can do to help. This man and his team are working miracles.

Jobs of compassion are very difficult and requires the most strength, because one must look at death and suffering everyday and it is never ending, things easily get out of balance, with also trying to take care of and honor ones self. My dog and cat were picked up by my aunt on the streets of Beijing. My cat sadly passed away a few years ago, but they were great family members (although I still think my cat hated me)

oh no cats sometimes get irritated and even could bite its owner. It's natural behaviour among cats but they really return the same affection and love to their owner 😘😘

@@finnhansen3225 actually, just because they’re “animals” doesn’t mean they don’t have feelings too. I’m not being mean/backwashing but animals do feel emotions other than happiness and joy. (Like pain, anger, frustration, sadness etc) and they don’t show it in the same way as humans. Like my dog makes this, I guess you could say sneezing noice whenever he’s mad/frustrated and he growls/barks whenever he’s angry, and he has this very “whiny” soft bark whenever he’s sad. So yeah. Animals do feel emotions (we’re technically animals as well so... yeah)

Y'all, even if you can't adopt, reach out to your local rescues and apply to be a foster if you can. Fostering saves lives. If you can foster, just sharing rescue's posts on social media helps. You don't have to open your own shelter like this man did to help save lives.

It's almost never an individual that makes a difference. The monk appears to struggle at times with what little he can do in the face of such a big problem. I hope this mini clip helps us all realise if we all did a bit (small sacrifices) to help the lives of those around us, however big or small, it is much more impactful than just a single man's sacrifice.

There is not enough special people in this world like this monk. A few other people on youtube has earn my respect for caring for animals, especially dogs. Like Takis Place, Viktor Larkhill, Animal Aid Unlimited India, and there is also a lady that took car of hundreds of dogs from donations (can't remember her name). These people deserves our support, unlike the many dumb useless youtubers that has millions of followers doing nothing useful except doing dumb things.

I feel this guy's problem I got had 27 now down to like 21 but there all healthy i came up with a plan on how much to feed them an pretty much with them 24/7 they bark but only for like a few mins cause they have something to do an chill with me while keep busy making food so they sleep an play for a day it takes me 5 hours to give them attention each day then they do there own thing it's like a regular routine haha recently got to big pits one aggressive cause he was a guard dog but now he's more an more like a baby 👍
