Yuan-wise and bowel-foolish. There is, at best, a 50/50 chance that what they're eating from those ¥1.00 shops and stalls is technically meat (i.e., muscle and fat from a land animal) to bein with. But you can bet 99-1 that whatever meat they are selling for ¥1/$0.13, is not what they are advertising on the tin. You can only hope that whatever substance you're consuming is, at least, fit for human consumption; that its non-toxic; and it isn't rancid or rotting... or worse. These Red Chinese know all about getting a good price, but they really have no understanding of the concept of "value".

0:20 bro, as a person that like to buy cheap food especially the near expired food. I am not mentally strong enough to buy such thing :)) We have inflation, we have cheaper food, w/o increasing in paycheck we cant buy a house. I got paid 1$ per hour in my homeland and a 1$ meal is enough to make me happy. The Chinese: 0.13 and its not just any food, its your favorite food

They should take the money buy seeds and plants, go find some empty land nobody uses, and nobody around Then just reposes it for a small private farm, and don't let nobody find it,and if they do nothing gonna really happen, arrest someone for growing food? Problem then is getting real meats, that's when countryside contacts and connection can help, again private market... Fish probably is the best option if you can find a pond lake or river that's not extremely polluted

Chinese government is communist The economy is a weird split between a socialist and capitalist market economy I guess that's why china is starting to stagnate like daddy USSR Lack of infrastructure and economic reformation

There are just not enough farming land in China despite China is huge. Tbh I was surprised af to learn that Japan and Korea having far more suitable farms than China despite they are like 30 times smaller countries. The extreme lacking in farmland of China doesn’t even start with CCP. It has been like this for dozen centuries. There is a reason why famine hits China like every few decades.

The last thing to ever save on is buying and eating cheap food, especially in countries like China, where sanitary and food hygiene standards are often overlooked and unregulated. The risk of health complications with these food might end up causing them more than what they have to pay for on healthcare expenses in the long term.
