When older artists do a retrospect on their career, it's amazing the amount of "it was Ryan Black who said I should do this and that" or "my hair was actually burned off but Karen Kilgariff told me to held it up that way, and it became iconic" Artists today still do a lot of collabs. But almost exclusively with small and independent artist, it's nice and all but it's only to feed their egos and they don't know their names "yeah, actually the boots aren't real leather, it's a pseudo parch marble wood made by a local artist" or "Jean did my hair"
