LeBron's stats didn't actually go down compared to the Celtics and Raptors series. He averaged roughly identical stats in the Warriors series that he did in the previous two. Almost exact same FG%, PPG, RPG, APG, etc. He just got torched by KD after Game 1 and did not do much defensively in general. I don't believe he was actually hurt. 'Cuz it's weird how his stats don't decline "when hurt", yet it's also used as an excuse for why he didn't win. You can't have it both ways. I think LeBron played as well as he could but it simply wasn't going to be enough.

What they forgot about going younger is that those young guys don't know how to play for the team, they know how to play for themselves. The Warriors have unselfish guys like McGee and West who look to help the team in any way. McGee literally crashed boards because he understood they were locking in on KD, Klay and Curry. David West brought toughness and leadership. West is the absolute leader of the Warriors, he's their stability. Cavs got Lebron as a leader but outside of that, you listenin to JR? You listenin to Tristan? Perkins? Calderon doesn't even get minutes but I guarantee that he'd play better than Hill and be more effective and the guy is 36. Korver is their silent veteran, he isn't outgoing but he'll give their guys advice.

There's a difference between a broken hand and a bruised hand. i'm sorry but with a freshly broken hand you can't play, a broken finger, yes, but a broken hand you sit on the bench with your best suit on, and join the injury list. A bruised hand is another thing, but obviously that can't be used as an excuse, because broken makes it sound more dramatic than bruised. And if that bruise didn't stop him from banging his hand against the rim every time he was dunking after game 1, I guess the bruise wasn't such a big deal...well at least until after they got swept.
