And why am I transported back to the Elf kingdom in Lord of the Rings? She is lovely and can sing and needs a different song. And the guitar...? It might look nice but it's only a Yamaha!

Okay demo, sounds like she went to head voice for the chest voice part. In fact, she sort of showcases her head voice (somewhat affectedly) when her chest voice is really her loveliest, most authentic register. She could own this like Judy Collins did Both Sides, but not self-accompanied on acoustic guitar as the rhythm and feel are too complex and subtle to do justice to and sing properly at the same time. Her performance was flawless as far as it went. It's an eccentric, unique song that's full of nuances and only the bravest and the best could manage it as well as she.

It was boring as hell. Cathy Dennis did a great cover in the 90s tho. Only thing thats impressive in this video is that guitar, its beautiful. Vocals though, sounds like every other "unique" singing voice that everyone uses today. She also played her guitar in a boring way. I dont care if people say im not getting any, or im jealous lol. Maybe a lil jealous of the guitar though, and i dont know why she played it using all barre chords, its such a simple song to play but for me she sucked the fun out of it.
