Yeah at this point "AI" is so watered down and meaningless that any inclusion in a product is not a feature but a black mark against your product and company in my book.

@@adanufgail none of it is even technically "AI". It keeps frustrating me all these companies that say that because it's all machine learning since they still have to tell the program what to do and when to do it, and they have to train it for specific scenarios. It can only deal with situations that it has been through in training, there's no actual intelligence just connecting dots essentially

@@OfficialDeathScythe I bought a lifetime subscription to a fitness app called BodBot nearly a decade ago. They recently "rebranded" to claim their using AI. I reinstalled it and it's literally the same app with the same algorithm as 10 years ago.

i am disappointed that so much of the tech is just additions to the tech we have. i want NEW tech. lights, computers, displays....i am perfectly happy with my level of tech. i want things that will change energy consumption levels, DO something NEW, something that will allow me to work less and get paid more. this is the tech i want.

Govee has become too expensive. I use to be able to buy RGB light strips for $20-$40 and now they want $70-$120!!! Ya they priced themselves out of the market. I'll look elsewhere and it's no wonder my daughter stopped asking for Govee products for her birthday and Christmas.

Out of 10000+ exhibits at CES why most videos show same things?

Well, a lot of the booths only show prototypes or products that was still being funded and won't come out this year. I specifically reach out to brands that have a good history of actually releasing products, and I feature these products in my wrap up every year. If you want to see the weird side of CES, look up videos that only focused on the "weird stuff I saw at CES". There's a bunch of those videos available too from my colleagues.

One of the reasons I didn't speak on AI for everything is because it didn't bring anything of value to a product, imo. I don't think it's necessary in everything, but right now it's a huge marketing feature.
