Thank you, thank you, thank you David Gregory Roberts. I've just re-listened again to Shantaram. I read the book in 2012 and loved it although it took me between 3 and 6 months to read. The copy I had was worn and well read. I was living in a damp house at the time and the pages were starting to get mouldy. Around 2 years ago I downloaded the audio book narrated by Humphrey Bower and I found to be an absolute treat. He embodied the whole sentiment of your story with his voice. He was able to pull off so many accents flawlessly. "You must hug it the bear." Recently I challenged myself to 1 Million steps walking over 100 days. Walking some days over 25K the 42 hours of Humphrey Bower's voice and your kept me going. When the story finished today I was moved to tears when Lin Prabu's son. Such a phenomenal story, your work has helped me in so many ways including sharing my own story. Thank you again Shantaram ❤

Shown are the questions and answers that everyone asks themselves. Aphorisms are just a bomb, everything is very accurate. So difficult to believe the characters completely made up. There must be some prototypes, after all, without real people some events would of not happen and in my translation it says..biographical novel☺ But the mystery of creator for me will remain forewer, that characters so well described has no part of creator...
