I'm usually a silent spectator, but in this case I have to say something. I've watched this video thousands of times even while I'm sleeping. Not only have I internalized this video and the teachings, I have become those teachings. thank you infinitely. Because of this video, I stopped smoking, started exercising intensively again and my pain tolerance has increased immeasurably. I've learned not to worry too much, just to start things. The route is the goal.

He is a buddist, and he is trained in not thinking. And you dont need to think before saying, while doing pause, it just comes to you. And if you are sure what you are saying, no thinking is required. Try that. Before saying, just stay calm and listen, but do not engage into analyse. Just stop everything, listen (to something you can't hear or see, just wait), then just talk, you will know exactly what to say.

There is a hierarchy of needs, but balance between effort and rest, work and play, as well as with anything in life, must be maintained or else consequences will present themselves to force an ebb or flow back to equilibrium. You can't achieve self-mastery and full capacity potential if your body and mind is occupied with basic needs.

Great interview. I recall a police officer colleague from Holland telling me of how a young woman lost her handbag to robbers on Wijdesteeg Street Amsterdam one time. Heng was out walking with friends enjoying the sights when they noticed the distressed woman. He immediately pivoted and gave chase to the 2 men. Some minutes later Heng emerged from a dark alley with the woman's bag and a robber under each arm. Story goes he sat the robbers down, said a prayer/intention for them, then let them be. Just another example of the great man's humility and grace. ty 4 vid.

It is a hard truth to believe that something I spent so much of my life on is not recognized by others to be something helpful to them. However, just hearing someone else (especially Shi Heng Yi) say it is okay helps me to move forward. Although I sacrificed many things for almost 8 years, I do not regret what I did. I am happy about what I was able to accomplish as an individual. To do something no one in the world has done is very satisfying. Even if I am the only one that understands it's worth.

However, over the past decade there's been an increased awareness of the fact that many folk have experienced intense levels of childhood trauma, the effects of which are carried into adulthood, manifesting in all manner of maladies, including pretty messed up immune systems. "Messed up" is not the word I wish to use; however, I respect this space and will restrain myself. But, this is why these types of teachings are so valuable, precious and sought after. It would be a great experience to visit a monastery and understand the deeper teachings. However due to this crises I hope it would be possible to visit someday. Wonderful interview much love to the handsome monk and all the dedicated workers💗💗

Wonderful interview. Thank you Master Shi and also to M bros for discovering him. While the world is moving to metaverse, AI, robotics, this is the other extreme that I feel we need moving forward to just be “human.”

I don't think it is extreme I think this is the natural. 🤗💗

Thank you. I've been getting the message from alot of people who seamed to have settled that I've wasted time... like my journey is any of their buisiness. I've never felt like that even when I decide to change my path of focus. 💜
