He has often through the course of his career been free to bounce to whatever franchise would have him and the closest he came to it is when he suggested Riley fire/demote Eric Spoelstra and return to coaching which Riley shutdown immediately. Look I think the hiring of JJ Redick is a bit silly but why does Sam Cassell have to be in the running as well? If the Lakers didn't want to hire him why does that have to be questioned? I just hate this thing that's been happening the last few years, pretty much always based on race, but some people think there is an obligation to hire certain people. A team should be able to hire whoever the hell they want, and if it ends up being a bad decision so be it.
