@adamani083 жыл бұрын
@Dustin Wilson You have to actually watch Kareem play. yeah Olajuwon had more moves. And i think he is the 2nd best Center of all time. Say what you want about Kareem and his hook. But he was dominant and unstoppable. And he was ballin out way before Magic and Worthy showed up. He played for 10 years before Magic and 13 before Worthy. He played for 20 years. And was an All-Star for 19 of them. I can go on and on. Check this out below. www.landofbasketball.com/player_comparison/kareem_abdul_jabbar_vs_hakeem_olajuwon.htm
@adamani083 жыл бұрын
@Dustin Wilson Kareem went up against, Chamberlain, Russel, Moses Malone, Bill Walton, The other Centers in the top 10 centers of all time list besides the guys you mentioned. And So what if Hakeem took it to Kareem in '86. That was Kareem's 17th season. I am a big Olajuwon fan. And he's the best center I ever seen play. I am too young to have watched Kareem play live. But I have watched him in replays and on youtube. Kareem is the all time leading scorer ever. And 3rd in blocks. And thats because they didnt record those stats in his first 4 years in the league. He's probably got a thousand more than he's credited for. If you go off his averages. And 3rd in rebounds. 10 spots ahead of Hakeem. Kareem was really good for a really long time. 1. Kareem 2. hakeem
@adamani083 жыл бұрын
@Dustin Wilson Kareem was better. Every single stat that matters goes in Kareem's favor. Points, blocks, rebounds, championships. Mvps, rookie of the Year, 3x NCAA champ, all nba, all nba defensive, all star games, scoring titles. I don't care who he played with. He accomplished those awards. Nobody did it for him. And if Hakeems team was so bad then he should of scored more. Not less. If they both played against each other in their primes. Kareem would of got the best of Hakeem. I like The Dreams style and his moves better too. But Kareem was more dominant.

Shaq took this loss very well it seemed, but it's easier to move on when you were swept, rather than losing a tough seven game series. Pretty much everyone saw this loss coming from a mile away after what happened in Game #1, and even the Rockets themselves said there wasn't going to be a fifth game after the Magic gave that one, along with all of their mojo away, which they never got back. That while he knew he'd have many more chances to win a title, which he made happen four times. Ewing the year before was far more devastated with knowing 94 was his best shot of getting his elusive championship which he never won for that matter either.

If Nick Anderson makes those free throws have a different series oh well.
@questionblock89493 жыл бұрын
I agree. I hate saying that one shot couldve changed a series but if Nick made just one of those four free throws who knows how the series couldve gone. It seemed to me that game 1 really depleted the Magic

Suns blew a 3-1 lead to Houston that season. Smh would have been theirs had they finished the job.
@josephvazquez99643 жыл бұрын
Yeah sun's would have done the same to magic. Houston seemed in reg season and playoffs as if they where not hungry because they won the nba championship the previous season but when they did upset win on the sun's and winning the San Antonio series don't know why fans had expected magic to win, probably the magic beating the Chicago bulls in playoff series gave the illusion they would win but fans forget Jordan was rusty and didn't have the teammates he had when they won championship.

@@stilesjohnson1745 They bet on the wrong horse and they thought Penny could carry the franchise without Shaq. I loved them both big time but every team besides the Bulls in this era had a dominant big man if they made any noise and Penny just couldn't stay healthy and wasn't ready to be the leader of a franchise. It would've been cool for that Magic team to stay together with Shaq and Penny because they were fun to watch but it just wasn't meant to be.
