Shariah compliant property investing or sometimes known as Halal property investment is the idea of creating profit from property in a way that is ethical avoids interest and is based on the sharing of risk and reward. Sharia law defines what is permissible in Islam for Muslims that follow that faith. There is also the concept of borrowing money from the banks using a Halal Mortgage or Shariah compliant mortgage that is not based on interest or Riba as this is considered as usury.

How do we find these partners? where can you safely find people you can trust to do property business with ? I find your meet and greet invite slightly intmidating for someone who is looking into start in this market. And the 1-2-1 consultation is too much . Anythign that is between those two options?

Technically speaking according to scholars, in a Dar ul Harb (a state that isnt under Islam which UK is) there is no interest between a non Muslim Harbi and a Muslim. Mortgages are permissible on that basis (view I personally align with)

There’s a few issues with this. If you do genuinely take that view (which in of itself is problematic due to the Hadith being used not being authentic in the first place, but even putting that aside for a moment), that would mean it’s fine to do fraud and steal money from The government. Would you do that? If not, why not? And is it permissible for you to reside and settle in dar al harb?
