I can attest to all of these!!! I’ve only had mine 6 months and I’m so hair lazy it’s ridiculous! But I love it and now spend my extra time trying to perfect my make up routine!

Lol if you were trying to sell sisterlocks girl you sold them 😅 I am getting them in April and I’m sooo excited but the other day I naturally was like am I really doing this ?? No going back you know. Well I’m soo thankful for this video . When you were talking about being and feeling flawless omg 😆 I was like okay here is my sign to move forward without any doubt at all. This is what I need in my life. I can’t tell you how many times I have been invited out randomly and wanted so bad to go and could go but declined because of my hair looking ridiculous 😚I’m soooo excited. Thank you 😊

Hi Sharida! Yes! HIHS is sooooo real! I have it bad and it's affecting my locs😔 I most certainly didn't know you were an officer (thank you for your service ❤). I need to look for a back up...but it seems like it'll be 'cheating' on the one I have🤭😂 your locs are beautiful, girl! Thanks so much for this video ❤❤❤

Definitely find you a back up lol. Don’t end up like meeeee! Thank you so much. My solution to HIHS is for me to bonnet whenever I am home lol

Hi Sharida, the information is great, I have a consult next week. What exactly is braiding (do you have a video that actually shows that) I did not learn how to braid.
@SharidaM Жыл бұрын
No tutorial on braiding but I just make 6 braids which is over lapping the hair in a three part pattern.

Funny, ill be 2yrs locked in March and I've never experienced the hair bulb issue. Girl, you didn't when you mentioned not seeing growth. Feels like I've been the same length 4ever. Thickened up but I want more hang time lol

Just realize everyone has a journey that is their own. Don’t expect your hair to do like anyone else’s cause it won’t. Enjoy each day of the journey. I am 5 1/2 years locked. Covid hit, I lost my locitican because she was unable to continue doing hair. Finding another locitican was very hard but I found one and after losing some locs we’re rolling again.

Yes I totally 💯 agree, everyone’s journey is their own.

Hi Sharida, I’ll be going to the same loctician u went to Im in ATL. She told me she can install but advised I seek a back up loctician for reties because she’s booked. Do u have another loctician u would recommend in ATL or surrounding areas?

😂same. I just had my hair loc’d a few days ago. I’m not the only one with the HIHS, my whole family wants to touch my hair, especially the children 🤦🏽♀️. So I have to keep my scarf on when around people.

I had a baby and went an extra two weeks without a retie…never again… I am every 4 weeks MAYBE 4 and a half. 5 is pushing it. I had a whole Afro under my locs at 6 weeks
@SharidaM2 жыл бұрын
Yes I definitely get it lol. Everyone knows there limit and I when some people try to tell you 4 or even 6 weeks is too often. If your hair grows or marries fast you need to go more often.

How do you keep your locs looking so hydrated. Just starting my journey and my biggest fear is dry looking locs. Also, your skin…amazing. What gives?
@SharidaM2 жыл бұрын
I just use a little water and oil on scalp when needed. But locs are just quite dry in general. Its just something you have to get used to. My skin I owe to my Korean Skincare regimen. I have a video from about 6 months ago that detail how I finally cured my acne and bad skin texture. Here is a link if you are interested in watching! kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4HQknZ3bZZ8odE
