This video focuses on my reflections following my recent milestone birthday, a video I filmed a few weeks ago.
However, in the wake of the gruesome killings and the push to #endfemicide, I want to remind us to continuously demand change. Change in narratives around the normalization of violence in our society, change in systems, change in how we push for justice.

Around age 39, 40, 41... we start looking into the past to see what we've achieved (although we mostly focus on what we haven't!). The phrase, "When I grow up, I want to be..." may no longer apply. It's easy to get depressed. However, if you go through midlife with GRATITUDE and a stronger self-awareness, a whole new world of limitless possibilities may unravel within you. Hence the phrase, "life begins at 40"✨.

I am glad to hear your wisdom, Janet. My 20s were when I felt lost, lost friends, took bold decisions, and had so much anxiety. In the 30s, I'm now feeling settled, I feel grounded, no pressure, and everything people say the 40s feel like. Probably because I went through a tough late 20s, I grew up too much, and I feel like I matured a whole decade in just two years.
