I had not seen the Xiaomi Dreme before. Here in the UK the vacuum cleaner market is dominated by Dyson and Shark. The Xiaomi cordless vacuum looks very good.

I have a corded and cordless shark. The suction on the cordless isnt good and gets worse over time. I liked my corded one but after 18 months the motor was making a strange noise and it was replaced then did the same thing a few weeks later. A few of my friends have a dyson cordless and it's much better. But after researching for months it seems the vax is the best. But who knows.

I'm not familiar with Vax cordless vacuums but will look at them in future. The Bosch cordless vacuums are worth a look as well. Thanks for contributing Glenna 🙂

I have had this vacuum about 4 years now and its stopped picking up well. I have cleaned the conical metal filter and emptied the bin and still not picking up. Is there something I am missing? TIA

Have you cleaned the foam and hepa filters? If you have, see if you have suction when you disconnect the tube from the cleaning head. Also check for blockages; my daughter had a sock blocking hers. Good luck 👍

Shark have a good reputation. I've had mine just over a year now and have had no problems. All batteries start to degrade at some point but I've not noticed any drop off in run time so far.

have you been able to the filter out behind the battery? i cant figure out how to remove it

Take out the battery and pull the filter housing vertically upwards. It is stiff at first but it does come out.
