To answer your question... It works very well. I'm in the process of fixing up my apartment, going in and out often with materials that are sometimes used and sometimes dirty. My tile floor was filthy with paint splattered all over as well as puddles of paint dried where I've often had to scrap and scrap and scrap to lift it. This was due to leaks, to mixing my own paint to match certain elements. I'm finally at the place where the finishing touches such as final wall paint, and molding, and laying a soundproofing on the floor and then carpet so I really need the tile floor to be really clean to ensure proper stickage. I'm grateful for this little wonder. You should narrate this to home mechanics, parents with children, with dogs, painters and the like. Shark, you've got yourself a winner.

I was wondering if this mop automatically puts out steam while you are pushing it? My previous shark steam mop did, but recently I tried out a bissell and you have to push a trigger under the handle to get it to steam. The bissell is awful and I want to get a shark again, but I don’t want the trigger in the handle because it annoys me. You might have said this in the video, but if you did I missed it.

You can add it to the pad. I’d put things into the water tank that we’re not water and within minutes the mop died. Not certain, but guessing it’s the freshener I put into the tank.

Hi, do you know by any chance if there are disposable versions of the pads? I purchased this a couple of years ago and used it only twice because I am so tired of cleaning the pads. I do not wish to clean the pads in my washer & dryer. Would greatly appreciate it if you are able to assist.

No, they have to be fabric. You can use the washing machine, they sanitize it if you use proper soap.

Love the review. However vinegar alone won’t kill germs. I definitely would put a little bleach in the washing machine when washing the pads.

The machine itself and the water tank don't get hot, so it's not a problem.

If it doesn’t have a vacumn on it also I don’t want it. Swiffer has a vacumn dry mop but I use wet pads. I just wish steam mops had vacumn also.

Coral Hoyt it’s for dry cloths but I just purchase the damp wet ones and works AMAZING! I have 3 dogs and 2 sons. I vacumn mop is a must. Sorta like our robot vacumn but she has no heat :(
