FYI - This ep aired on the 14th April 2023 even though on the 9th April 2023 they changed their name to Bon Bee Honey (stated on their website), The Honey Bunchies website was flooded with activity from Shark Tank fans after the ep aired - nearly 10,000 visitors - and orders for the snack bars spiked as a consequence, The Denver Post reported. I found they were selling on Amazon but Amazon states "Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.". Bon Bee Honey did get their deal with 7-Eleven and Kroger has also started selling the company's products. This deal was announced in June, two months after the sharks passed, and assured that the honey-based bars would be sold by the supermarket giant in at least 20 U.S. states. According to NOSH, the Kroger deal was helped by the success of the products at King Soopers, a regional supermarket chain owned by Kroger that has sold Honey Bunchies bars since 2016. Their home page is still selling their products (there is also a "Hero Discount" section). Personally I'm glad that they didn't get a deal and were able to grow their company to get to where they are today.

None of this tells us they got into any fraction of the 8,500 potential 7-11s, which was the fairy tale she was selling the Sharks. No one doubted she could get into a few more grocery stores. She already had some grocery stores. She said sales were going to massively balloon next year due to a 7-11 deal, and when they pressed her if she had the purchase order in hand she eventually relented and admitted all she had was approval to show at their franchisee’s expo. She knew damned well she was selling the Sharks a bill of goods, and she kept repeating it to herself and started to believe herself. Unless someone can show that a substantial amount of 7-11s picked up her product, then she told the Sharks a fairy tale.

Honey Bunches of Oats. That's what I thought of when I saw the name for this bar. Too closely resembles their trademark in my opinion. Someone below commented their name was changed to Bon Bee Honey, which makes legal sense. Bon, if you don't know, translates to "good" as it is a French and Italian word.

I found this on a website "...roughly 40,000 companies apply each year to be on Shark Tank. They do so by either filing out an online application form or waiting long hours for a live audition, but most will be lost along the way. Maybe their business isn’t consolidated enough, or they’re bad at pitching (because they haven’t watched any of our videos), or their product is useless, or they are just plain boring. More often than not, making it to the tv is about the personality, not the product. After all, it is a tv show. Every producer is only thinking about the ratings. So after this massive purge the show will land on a group of a fun hundred companies. Those that make it to this point will fill out a 17-page application kit. They’ll spend months on audition tapes, answering emails from production, and having endless video calls. All the while producers are removing more and more companies from their list until they end up with the magic number: 158 companies. "

If I'm wrong, please let me know and cite where you obtained your information from? I really dislike when people come up and start crying and being emotional. That says their business proposal wasnt good enough to entice a shark and they need to resort to this. Like others have said, anybody coming in like this should get an instant no but part of the appeal is the reality television and drama unfortunately.

I wonder how much she nets in profit. Because when she said they made $22k off her current profits, it’s like the sharks looked at her with the “whomp whomp whomp” looks. And no one asked why she made so little. They knew…..

Anybody listen to what she Said? 42% made of pure Honey. How should that help against diabetes? Very controversial. But anyway because of the pure sugar it will sell like hell. In a few years somebody would post in the comments how many millions she made.

These Sharks are so over-loaded with deals that they have to run from any deals that aren't "perfect" (add money and succeed). It's hilarious how carefully/meticulously they choose their words/excuses when they say, "No" to an entrepreneur. Even Kevin won't take a flyer on one of his "sharkiest" 'ROYALTY" offers... so that's bad TV... which begs the question... why did they televise this ???

@@warriormanmaxx8991 She can be a softie to the inexperienced entrepreneurs. Business is cold but Bard can definitely be moved by the right person. Edit- that’s what the “but” was for
