@@karlasanchez4912 Mine definitely has it and it took me 3 long sessions of fighting with it to get it to do the explore run. From the app it completely looks like it does not have the map feature but it does. I can’t say exactly how I did it but I reset the factory setting and just kept trying. At one point it said “communicating” for 13 minutes while I just sat on the floor and cursed at it. This seems to be the most important part. Hopefully, it will work now…

If you overlap the rooms, IE: Kitchen and Dinning Room, than later tell it to clean the kitchen - It will clean the kitchen and the part over the dining room that overlap . I just got one. Be as accurate as possible. The reason for being accurate - is , if you set up a NO GO zone, it will be much easier for you to see on the map

Great question! For the moment, the SharkClean app can only store one map per unit, so it would not currently offer the option to save two or more maps for a single Robot Vacuum. However, you may get more Shark Vacuum Robots for other levels, or re-map your current unit on a different level.

I just bought the Shark RV2620WD AI Ultra robot vacuum and mop and it does not want to go under my couch which is high enough for it to go under. I already did the mapping but if I doesn't vacuum under my furniture and clean around the baseboards I will return this.

@@SharkHome I have RV2610WA. I have mapped my main floor. I want to clean my second floor rooms. I carried it from the base and placed it in my second floor bedroom. Pressed Clean button, but it seemed to be confused and didn't clean much of the room. Someone online suggested that you power the unit off, then remove from base, then power up in non mapped room. I tried this and it seemed to work better. What is the exact way to clean an unmapped room for RV2610WA?

We kindly recommend you moving the robot to the second level without the base. Place the robot on a level surface and press the clean button. Then, once the robot has finished cleaning, manually return it to the base.

I just recently purchased a self-emptying shark robot vacuum and don't remember it having ever done an explore run nor can I see any map section within the app. The vacuum is a RV900S series, which from our understanding should be capable of mapping. Hi, we will answer your questions. The unit will map just one floor, and we do not recommend moving the base because it will be issued with the mapping of the unit. In this case, we recommend to map one floor and use the unit manually in the another floor.

The app controls the following: • Recharge and Resume Use Recharge and Resume to help ensure complete, multiroom coverage in your home. • Scheduling Set whole-home cleanings for any time, any day. • Control From Anywhere Wherever you are, you’re in control of your robot. • Cleaning Reports Each time your robot cleans, your app will generate a cleaning report. • Volume Control You can adjust the volume level of your robot's audio notifications. buy a Roomba or another competitor. Shark only allows one floor map per robot. If you buy a second Shark then you can have both floors (one for each floor). Another option with the Shark, map one floor and for the other floor just put the vac on the floor and press the "Clean" button and let it do the whole floor

Hi Lynn! No, did the Robot have clear access to get to that area? - What you can do is delete the map and re-explore it using the App please make sure there is a clear pathway and no closed doors.

Okay tried 2 email accounts right password try to open app and said email and password don't match, is first time using the app WTH????? Is there a map button on the charging base, can't get into this stinking app???

The robot is pretty lazy about its exploration. There's a piece of furniture in my house that it can barely fit under, and it cleans under and behind that furniture just fine... But on the map it just shows a blank space as if it was completely inaccessible. The map should update itself once using all the information gathered after a month of scheduled cleaning. And if you relocate the home station, there should be a way to move it without deleting the whole map (including rooms and no-go zones).

Thanks for your comment! We are very sorry to learn that you have experienced difficulties with your unit. In this case, if the unit has difficulties when running under certain furniture, it will mark them as an obstacle, and it would not include them on the map. We currently do not have the option to keep the same map layout if the dock is relocated, but please keep in mind that we constantly try our best to run the best updates on our units. We appreciate your understanding!

@@SharkHome It does not have difficulty running under that particular piece of furniture. During normal operation it will go underneath and behind that piece of furniture just fine. The problem is that when it did the exploration run the LIDAR decided that the furniture was too low to pass under, so it did not even try. Therefore that piece of the room is not on the normal map, but when you look at the history of where the vacuum has cleaned, the missing area is filled in.
