this is why i very much hate watching shark tank australia....they hear a big ask, immediately they have made their minds on not getting in so they start finding reasons to fault the business. if these business people came in asking 100K for 20% they would have immediately got an answer and all of a sudden this business idea is genius! LOL

I don't think so because they barely had any knowledge on why their product works and what it attacks specifically in the immune system, not saying they wouldn't get one or two deals but there are definitely issues outside of just the ask price. It's also definitely not genius because major other medicine companies make the exact same product, they wouldn't be able to do anything with 100k in terms of marketing like it was mentioned.

For any investor, 1.5 million is a big ask regardless of the valuation. Especially for a company that are just essentially sales people for a product. Usually AU Shark Tank has a pretty even temperament, but I think they're all put off by the fact that what essentially they're asking for is a lot of money with no real proven strategy or confirmed orders. I think that would set any reasonable person off.
