Boat stone 1000 is one of my best purchased ever , 4 years have passed still working amazing, just had to replace battery after 3 years. Kyu nae le rha, sound devices segment mei ghus ja tu. Toh quality ki baat, boat bhi de dega. Sabhi brand name ki khel hai, boat fully sound segment se hi ubhar rhi, which is a good thing. Naahi wo camera bana rhi aur nahi playstation. So we can purchase their product, as they are not copying Sony.

television ka market alag hai vai. headphone ki tarah nahi hain ki 6-7 mahine chalaunga. chalega to thik nahi to koi dusra dekhlunga. tv ke liye log bohot choosy hain. aur log paisa dene ko taiyar hai lekin accha hona cahiye. aur ye accha hotahe trust. mereko malum hai ki samsung ka tv lunga to service badiya milega. to 2 hajar ya ek hajar ke liye kiu koi aur kharide???

I got a 42" 4k Sony whitelabeled tv for 12k. Jio STB made it a smart tv & equivalent to a 80-90k TV. Its been 4 years & it hasn't bothered me even once.

every company starts with mid to low rang product to get into the market ones they gain the trust of consumers than they will increase the price i have seen alots of brand doing this not only in electronics in many categories like year back I purchased xyxx inner wear for around 250 now they sell same inner wear for 600rs. Oneplus also did the same started with 15k-20k phones now their phone cost around 40k-50k

Bhai mujhe lagta hai tv main inverter hona chahiye atleast 1-2 hour guaranteed backup, matlab light gayi fir bhi serial aur entertainment shuru, log na 2-3000 aise hi jyada de denge. Aaj bhi na jab gaon main light jati hai aur koi favourite serial Miss ho jaye toh mood off ho jata hai. Matlab jab tv chalu hai battery charge aur light gayi battery on.

Bro in TV all vendors get screen at same price, no margin left. In case of boat you can get cheap and good parts. Also speakers are relatively simpler machine and some parts manufacture in india.

I think price differentiation is based on the difference in consumer psychology and the buying behaviors of different socio-economic classes. For example: 1. Poor Class: They are price centric. Always buy the cheapest option. 2. Elite Class: They are value-centric. Always buy from the best of the best brands/products. 3. Middle/Upper Middle Class: They are Both Price Centric and Brand Centric. Always look for a brand that has Lower/Budgeted prices but a little less value than the elite class brands and more value than the poor class - 3rd-grade products. If you want to start a brand focus on this category in the beginning and aim to become an elite-class brand. Conclusion: Yes, the Sharks are right, price could never be a USP of any brand. 2nd most important thing is Communication Skills and listening is a fine art. Listen first and then give answers accurately and try to give a short, concise, and to the point answer. Investors/ Sharks look for USP, Business Model, Profitability, and the Potential of the Pitcher. The guy lacked that skill of listening. PS: Profit margin is the only Key Performance Indicator.

Tv has become all about technology but for some it's about brand because even if we are spending 40 thousand for a tv no one would go for non branded unless it's actually a better technology and uniqueness. I think small hotels would buy their rooms maybe who need a tv in bulk orders.

Price is also the one differenciator in making the brand.just take example of Xiaomi. People buy boat headphones because they launch value for money products. So , u cannot say price is not a differenciator
