a tip for marmite is I usually mix like half a teaspoon of marmite with 2/3rds of a teaspoon of butter in a bowl and then spread it on the toast, it makes it way easier to control the amount of marmite you’re putting on the toast as the butter makes it spread easily :)

As someone who lives nearby to the Jurassic Coast, I highly suggest taking a trip down to Kimmeridge as its a place where you'll almost always be able to find fossils. The beach is covered in ammonites of varying sizes and shapes. There is also a very cosy restaurant in the village opposite a fossil museum!

I'm a north American and I had an Australian friend that had me try Vegemite and an Irish friend had me try marmite in college. They're very similar and I didn't love them but didn't hate it. It sort of tasted like salty molasses and I'm sure if I grew up where it was put on everything I'd have the nostalgia factor influence me liking it. I'm not really one for really bland items so it's not really something I partake regularly, but I don't see why people "badmouth" it when it's just yeast. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Melt some unsalted butter, add a small amount of Marmite & melt it in - add a spoon of pasta water and let it thicken a bit, then add the pasta. Marvelous as is or add some parmesan, too. I ADORE rock collecting and have leveled up my stone collection by cataloging them, after I have identified them. I use the app "Rock Identifier: Stone ID" that makes it so easy to do! You just point your camera at the stone and take a picture and it immediately gives you their make-up and the choice of keeping the photo in your collection along with the location and date when you found the rock. (Yes! Please share your upcoming fossil & rock adventure, but only as long as you can remain totally focused in the moment, it sounds like soooooo much fun!) Lovely, new jewelry btw... Happy New Year!

Marmite is one of the few things that I import to Japan. Trying to cut down on my salt intake so only every other day now for breakfast. I tend to spread it a bit thicker than you and add a slice of cheese on top. But sometimes I like to have a nice Marmite, peanut butter and cheese sandwich instead. Delicious! P.S. I also keep my tea tins. Great for dice and other knick knacks.

You did the Marmite PERFECTLY (at least that’s how I have it) but you can of course spread it thinner or on unsalted butter if you want to reduce the saltiness

Happy New Year Sharla!!! Fantastic video! I love your gifts from Chris' family! Very nice! You should play the sushi stacking game with Natsuki. His reaction would be priceless! May you and Chris have a great 2023 year and may both your channels grow with even more subscribers! Cheers from Columbus Ohio USA!

The Jurassic coast is great. You should visit Swanage, it's a quaint little town where you can find fossils AND also take a steam train to the ruins of Corfe Castle.
