I don't fully remember what that bathroom area looked like as a whole, but could you just make the bathroom bigger by tearing out a wall or something, so a bigger one of those baths would fit?? If you did change the stair location to the loft, you could build a mini cat home in the space underneath. Looking forward to seeing the place come together. I know you did a house tour when looking at it and stuff, but it'd be cool to see some before/after still shots also.

A splurge is one thing, but it sounded more like it would have to be a ridiculously expensive custom made one. Something to consider is that as the room itself is smaller, a custom smaller bath might not look as nice as the ones in the photos. I would try looking through catalogues and showcase rooms of bathrooms the size you have there, there could be something really nice, ready to buy, that you haven't thought of yet. I would consider splurging on one of the nicer ready-to-buy bathrooms you find that way.

About the treadmill, it's probably because the belt is dry. You need to apply some lubricant below. I used to work on gyms. You can use liquid vaseline , but try to search for the manufacturer options

For Maru being cold, I would suggest these oval shaped open beds if you can find one. They have high walls but are open, however because of the high walls cats can curl up inside and regulate their body heat :) I have a cat who has issues regulating her body temperature so I have lots of little things around for her, including those beds and also just blankets sitting in sunny spots, as well as chill mats to put under said blankets in the summer time.

Hello Sharla. The squishy sound of the treadmill is due to the dry surface underneath. You will need some silicone oil for treadmills in order to keep it functional and prevent any damage. 😊

For the glasses donations, you can also donate at the Optical counter in Costco. I used to work there and Costco sends them out for use in 3rd world countries. When we couldn't ship them during Covid we had a member come in and bring all of the donations to Lions Club!

Nice desk/office set up! If you plan on using your treadmill regularly and for long periods of time, I would recommend getting a pair of indoor running shoes to wear just so you have some extra foot support :) Keep up the good work on the house rentals!

I can't believe you got the same treadmill as me 🤯 I literally just ordered mine from Amazon 2 weeks ago and arrived last week, but I'm sorry to say that's is not great so far. Or maybe it is, but mine arrived faulty and it looks like is the same issue that a lot of other users have as well: every time I rise the handrail, the display on it gives several errors, most common one E05, and it stops working. So right now I can only use it for walking (was planning on using it for running as it's a 2 in 1), without the handrail. But the seller was happy to help and sent a new display (which arrived just now so fingers 🤞🏻) and gave me a £50 for like compensation for the trouble of changing the display, so hopefully it will work just fine now cause I was so exited about it 😫 also a tip, make sure you oil it under the belt before you use it the 1rst time, it will slide better and probably will also help a bit with the noise. I hope you enjoy yours 😊
